I know in Ultima lore, Glass Swords would typically hit for max damage once and then shatter. So test your dagger with caution.

I don't know why you died when you said yes. I said yes and got a glass dagger. When I went in with another character I said no thats when I died. A little strange.

Yeah, see Draconi's post. Kinda similar to glass swords from the single player games.
