Andrew: Don't bother trying to speak, let alone move.
Andrew: This is my domain, and I've brought you here at my masters' bidding.
Andrew: *draws a card*
Andrew: Are you strong enough to resist my power?
Andrew: Can you tell me your name?
--I attempted to say my name, and got the "you cannot say anything at this time; you have been muted" message --
Andrew: ...
Andrew: Not even a syllable?
Andrew: Very well.
Blesh Terra: Blesh Terra
You speak your name agianst your will!
Andrew: Very good.
Andrew: *places a card on the table*
Andrew: Your vocal chords, the wind in your lungs - I control them.
Andrew: Here I control everything but a single choice.
Andrew: *taps the card*
Andrew: Do you believe in fate? You may answer.
You feel yourself able to speak.
Blesh Terra: Yes
You are silenced agian
Andrew: For instance, this is a Tarot card. it represents your fortune.
Andrew: If i turn it over, and it reads 'death'...
Andrew: Surely I will kill you.
Andrew: In this manner we will both know that your Fate was correct.
Andrew: Today, Fate will offer you a choice.
Andrew: You may choose to died, and be cast back in that dark place from whence you came.
Andrew: Or you may choose to serve my master, and live.
Andrew: You will have your health and possesions restored to you, and be sent safely home.
Andrew: I will also give you a gift of exceeding beauty.
Andrew: In exchange, you will agree to swear loyalty to the Shadowlords, and serve them.
Andrew: ...
Andrew: You may decide for yourself. Speak. You have untill the flames are extinguished.
Andrew: A simple 'Yes' or 'No' will do.

I was then tossed out and got the 5,4,3,2,1 0o0o0o0o

When i did it with another char, saying no to fate cuased a sighty diff dialog. but i didnt get very good screenshots of that one, as some jerk released a nightmare in the room, and i spent alot of the time using bandaids.

yeah i thought that was wierd too. I deff said it before the last candle as the screenshot shows.

maayybbbeee becuase i said yes to believing in fate it was hit or miss if i actually got to choose. i may have let fate decide.

and your right. they did a **** poor job on making that KR compatable.

1st Char: I answered (Yell) Yes to both the fate and joining questions and recieved a Glass Dagger just a minute ago. My card was The Tower.

2nd Char: Answered No then Yes. Got the dagger. Star Card.

3rd Char: No/Yes, dagger, The Mage.

4th Char: Yes/Yes, dagger, The Mage.

5th Char: Yes/No, Death Card.

I'm thinking it's rigged... lol.

yeah i'm deff thinking that when you say yes to believing in fate you have a chance at pulling the death card and dying.

The black moongate next to the Glow inn is gone. It´s been replaced with lightnings. Go and stand in the lightnings for a few secs and you will be teleported to Andrew.

I personally wiated 20 mins with 1 character, then 30 secs withthe next 2.

I dont see how it can be dragged out to last longer, its a set script, surely it lasts the same for every entrant>?

I must admit, Im very excited by this new update, the ability to join with the evil or stand agaist it.

Im also looking forward to the usefulness of our Threads of FATE and LIFE, our Cloaks of Corruption and the Blood Claoks.

It might have to do with weather or not you gave the SLs Black rock or not.

Also. What happens if some goody goody player says, YES, just to get the dagger, but really means NO? I hope saying YES turns us RED in the event later, and we can attack blues, those who said no, in the invasion. If this was limited to the invasion area's, it would rock.......

Well, in case some wish to know. One LS, I took two characters.
One said no to fate, and no to joining, He died
Other said yes to fate, and no to joining as well, He died.

Yes and no to fate followed by yes to joining seems to end the same, dagger and a card.

I also tried once with a cloak of corruption on. Nothing happened differently

I'd assume that this is in reference to those who ALREADY have joined SL in Factions. This is supposed to be some big Faction event afterall.

This was stated in earlier posts in this thread but the Moongate Rift in Moonglow that has been open for many weeks, is now gone. It has been replaced by lightning. Upon stepping into the lightning you get teleported to this guy, "Andrew" who asked you the questions about Fate.
