I went to have 'a look'. You know, just check out the new land/areas and see what's been done there. If it stays like this, I won't be back.
I chose the lower SW area. First,You will be greeted by a gank squad. Paralyze, hit Paralyze hit, dirt nap
Ankh to rez is N up that raised path. There will be more waiting there to rez kill you. Since I normally use hiding, I had put it on that template - doesn't matter - You Have Been Revealed!
Anyways, saw nothing except a gank squad of theses guys every other screen. Obliviously designed by people who don't actually Play UO (exc in God Mode).
It's stuff like this is why my sig says what it does.

this area looks like it's gonna be kinda easy, actually - all you have to do is make a small provocation pile of them and then throw in a little damage on top
just because you can't play your normal cookie cutter template where you run around on a skillless fighter doesn't mean that the spawn area is busted - play another template for a change - not every monster has to die to a sampire you know - adapt or die

what template did You use? I think someone already tried sammie (or dexxers in general), and said it doesn't work. When I went, I went with GM hiding Only, just wanted to see, no fighting. Go own them all and let us know how it went
Or the people who designed this thought it might be fun for a group of people, not solo players. Perhaps people need to stop expecting everything in this game to be made for single-players on every template.
People complain everything in this game is too easy since everything can be done solo. They make something new that can't easily be solo'd, then people complain it's too hard. Make up your minds!

or... maybe they're all guardians and once who say "mother, may I?" to the Queen, (or twist your little magic decoder ring) , then they all leave you alone from that point on, like loyalty to an Ant queen". Even w/ a group, it's a very confined area with multiple heavy spawns. I think there's more to (this that we don't know of, yet), because of that.
Per the quest dialogue, no.....They are minions of the Deilfer. I guess maybe at some point they might have a thing where you could choose the Defiler's side and thus not get attacked?
But I doubt it, they had something similar, last event cycle, so I suspect they will go straight out linear with this one.

The princess, much like the "statues" prior to the king of tombs exit, will attract summons such as EVs and Colossus, as to aggro onto the princess RATHER than the demons lol...it's VERY ANNOYING

No it was me, but I wonder if you were the one I saw provoing even earlier. I got all my kills on the first day while about six players were fighting with them. There was a warrior (probably a sampire), some mystics, mages, tamers and an archer. I later started to heal the sampire so I'm not sure if the leech properties on items work on these.
I later killed four of them myself by using provocation but it took far too long. Only two of the daemons dropped a gargish document out of four.
These are the daemons: Minion of Scelestus.

After killing 12 of these demons with a group I still didn't get a book...the drop on these books is to low!
I don't find the teleporter to go to the isle. I've talk to the queen in the palace and she says at southwestern and then southwest.
But i don't find nothing.

Another thing. I've killed all the Demons for the quest ( there was many people) but i come back to the queen and she doesn't answer to me, like if i had not complete the quest. What have i do?

But if I were alone I woud die in a while.
What have to do, continue to kill and loot daemons with many other people?
For me it's the only way. I'm a bard but provocation also if i use a daemon slayer doesn't work. And I have 120 in music and provo
Maybe i'll have to be all nite long killing daemons?

After you collect all 20 volumes in the coming weeks you can go peddling them door to door like an old school encyclopedia salesman. The charges are to protect your nose from door slamming.What an amazing quest reward!!!

Maybe I think that i'm wrong. But is the final reward the acces to the new areas of ter Mur?
It is very much like the Blackrock Golems, in that, a large group can kill the daemons pretty quick but it is totally up to the evil rng to get a document. You can solo them -provocation was quite popular in TC1 before it is released to shards- but it will take far too long. The only difference is, each golem had an Epiphany armor piece while there is a drop rate for the documents, probably less than 75%.
I think there were 20 players on the isle and if they kill a daemon every minute you might end up with 2-3 documents after an hour.
One change that I've noticed is the toxic sliths and the trapdoor spiders in the island, there were no other creatures than the daemons in TC1. I didn't kill much of these but maybe they drop the documents too, in a much lower drop rate.

15% chance the book she "rewards" >will be< key to advancing through the arc(story plot)
not too likely that it'll be a decoder/decypher for riddles
"charges" are possibly for buffs / resurrections / tokens of "admittance" / Travel and/or Sending ...
possibly a "first FULL charging" like tithing for chiv ...

Demon slayer.
Others have said so, so that's what I used. I didn't test it but the damage I was doing I usually don't get unless I have a slayer.

Thanks Galen, sorry, my mistake, just caught an earlier bard-type post saying slayer didn't work - probably just didn't make the roll, eh? Barding difficulty = 160?
Bard slayers work just fine on them.
According to UO Stratics - Bard Difficulty , and selecting Ancient Wyrm on both targets and Reptile Slayer instrument to correspond to the daemons' 160 bard difficulty and slayer:
Exceptional Instrument: 120 Bard Skills - Provocation: 10.0%
Demon Slayer: 120 Bard Skills - Provocation: 20.0%
Yes, Bard dif =160
So wait, is there any LOOT to be had from this? Or just some book that will be totally "vital" to some quest that will probably never be finished?
I never did kill the five billion Meer it would take to get my Bane loyalty up for whatever quest required it, and when they put a poll up here on the forum I think like only 5% of posters even bothered.

No idea what you're talking about on the poll.
What you got for Meer killing was a personalized corrupted Book of Truth. It will surely be worth something because not many got it.
The idea of the last event cycle, as I have stated repeatedly, appeared to be that the bad guys got the better rewards early on, then the good guys caught up.
The bad guys wanted commitment to their side, hence the large number of Meer or Ophis you had to kill.
What will happen in this event cycle I cannot guess.

I went in with a mage. EV's and a spell that does damage. I killed 5. Have 5 to go,and have 2 documents.
I probably would have had more but had to figure out what spell did most damages and worked mana use wise.
Thats it. 1 hour maybe.
Who else was in the battle. 3 tamers (2 drags and a dog). 2 other mages. and weapon guy.
Stop griping and go play.
Oh wait everyone cries if they cant kill them alone.
The event is good enough for a start... lets see how it goes. It meets my mark of exploring but a bit fat on beefed up hit point monsters.

This does not take in effect barding mastery added 10% so 20% and 30% and once you curse(-8-10%) then and discord them you should be running around 50% success!
