spellweaving questions

I have been told by many people that spellweaving is capped at 4/6 casting.
I am curious tho about spellweaving with magery, to my understanding when you have magery above 69.9 you get capped at 2/6 for all casting. I know this is to stop 4/6 chivalry mages...but is it applied to spellweaving too? I did a small test with essence of wind and it appeared to cast the same 2/6 as it did at 4/6. I want to run a spellweaving mage and if I need the 4/6 casting it will alter the template quite a bit.

Also I noticed that arcane enpowerment and then gift of renewal added no extra healing. Yet I often see people cast this before they GoR things. Is it a hidden bonus or does it not apply? I notice that I greater heal/ reg heal much better with the arcane empowerment but I was hoping for a really strong GoR.

And lastly are there any casting creatures that you can Dryad Allure? The orge lord is the most commonly used creature I see, but I favor pets/summons that cast.

Thanks in advance

Spellweaving is 4/6 with or without Magery. So no, capping at 2/6 when over 69.9 Magery is not applied to Spellweaving.

Arcane Empowerment does boost Gift Of Renewal. Though without an Arcane Focus not by much. Without Empowerment mine did 8, and with it did 10. It doesn't matter whether it is cast before or during Gift Of Renewal it will apply the bonus while Arcane Empowement is active.

You can charm most Repond creatures, all of the Meer, Savages and Ratmen have Mages, *wonders if you can charm Corgul*

Just a little bit to add here, everything everyone said so far is true. But after a TON of testing last night, the difference in 4/6 and 2/6 casting is almost negligible. It is my own opinion of course, and everyone should take the time to decide for themselves.

I like having the 4/6 casting for winding in group PvP. I like to teleport in, get a quick wind off, and then drop a wildfire. Makes it really easy for your teammates to push a grinder.
