Spellweaving Data - Scales With Skill?

Hello,

I saw the excellent spellweaving thread above but I have some finer grained questions I would like help with.

Specifically, Gift of Renewal is a HoT spell that scales both with skill level and arcane focus.

The UO Guide entry on this spell is pasted in below. It states that the healing ticks are 9-14hp. Having just started spellweaving from 0 (on siege) I see that it starts out at 5hp per tick and now at 70 odd skill it is at 8hp per tick. (with no focus)

So at 0 skill 5hp/tick at 70+/8hp per tick at 100 ?/tick at 120 ?/tick

The heal per tick scales with skill level. This brings up the question. Do other spellweaving skills also scale?

I will start a spreadsheet with all the spells and try to test what I can on TC. I will post what I find if anyone wants to chime in I will add the data.

Thanks :stir:

Duration 1 - 5 minutes (Skill Level Real / 240, minimum 1)
Area of Effect Single target
Arcane Focus Bonus +1 health regeneration, +1 minute of duration, and +2% cure poison chance per additional arcanist.
Description Increases the recipient’s natural hit point regeneration for the duration of the spell. Every 2 seconds, between 9 to 14 damage will be regenerated regardless of the target's condition. If the target is poisoned upon casting, the beneficiary will be cured and the spell ended. Gift of Renewal cannot be stacked on a target. There is a cooldown timer of approximately 2 1/2 minutes from the time Gift of Renewal expires. Human characters have a 50% chance of casting sucess due to the Jack of all Trades racial ability.

It'd be an enormous waste of your time to do this if you haven't read through the Stratics Weaving page, especially the sub-paged link from that page's header link bar.

That'd be me :p
Yea, I don't use these forums much, so didn't think of changing the Guide here... you'll want to contact a Moderator about that

and other than probably a few discrepancies (plus or minus ~one) they're accurate. Compiled that a month ago.

I would contact lady Rachel or Tazar to get it changed here!

Ok i found it:

"sub-paged link from that page's header link bar" :)

Thanks to whoever wrote this. Wish it was in the play guide. (Or included in the faq in this forum)

I will check and see if it is accurate.
The formulas on this page don't make any sense. Real skill/240, minimum 1 would always be 1.

And I don't know what to make of the ones with two open brackets but only one close bracket.

For some reason the Devs sometimes use Skill x 10 (because of the decimal place) and sometimes just Skill.
Pick whichever seems to fit best.

And I don't know what to make of the ones with two open brackets but only one close bracket.
... Well obviously you have to multiply it by the entire rest of the page until you find the hidden parenthesis. Definitely could never be a typo or anything like that. Oh and if you get confused about multiplying all the words, just treat each letter as a separate variable.

LOL. Thanks StupidMiner, skill x 10 makes a lot more sense now.
