So others do not make this mistake....

if you make a soulforge and wish to dye it...yes, the deed can be dyed...you MUST dye the deed BEFORE you place it!

also...if you see a deed on a vendor facing east west...it has already been placed an can not be dyed. A deed that has not yet been placed has north south edges.

House owner or a co-owner can place...and you do not need to have the imbue skill to place it.

You don't even need SA to place a soulforge.

Each time I try to place a Soulforge I get the message "You cannot build that there. Construction Aborted. Please try again."

I've tried placing with a SA-enabled account and one that is not.

I've tried placing in the corners, in the middle of the room, next to a regular forge, on the first floor, on the top floor, in a completely empty 18x18 room, in a private house and in a public house.

I get the same message every time.

It is because you need a large area to place it, the soulforge is 4x4 tiles. so find a space big enough.
