Soul charge change with the pub 75.0

There's the change they made to soul charge :

- Soul Charge properly works on the cool down period for 40 seconds.

Are you really kidding me please, because that make the property really useless now.
Let's take a 30 % soul charge shield (150 imbuing weight ) for an example, if I take a flamestrike of 43 damage, it will give me back 13 mana rounded up, all good so far. But then I need to wait 40 secondes before I can get mana back from the shield and hope to get another ''big damage spell'' ? Because a magic arrow would not give the same amount of mana and we don't really control which spell will trigger immediatly after the cool down.
40 secondes of cool down is way too long for a such heavy imbuing weight mod. Reduce it to 20 secondes. please. Soul charge is big new SA mod please don't make it useless...

It used to be OP, before the pub because there was no cooldown at all, but now they install a 40 secondes cooldown which is too long to me, so again please reduce it to 20 secondes.

i agree with quickblade tbh for the weight of the property it is a bit underpowered imo should be rethinked and time cut down as 40 secs is way to long

In a fight, even 10 seconds would be a long time. Typical overreaction when they nerf things. Why they go too far, instead of starting small and working their way up, is beyond me. It has already been in the game for a couple of months so it isn't like a small change would destroy PVP while testing out the proper adjustments.

If they want to keep the 40 secondes cool down, I would suggest at least to introduce a new system like ''entering in soul charge mode'' for like 8 secondes all damage will work with soul charge. Then after the 8 secondes of soul charging, there's a cooldown. This would be much like the new bestial suit. But really think about it 40 secondes you can die 5 times within that laps of time.....

If they want to stay in the ''single damage soul charge trigger'' idea, then they need to cut down the cooldown really. Twenty seconds is fair and even there, you don't control which 1 spell that will soul charge trigger so it might be a magic arrow, a fireball, harm , and I pass others...

What is beyond me is I don't get it why they go from a soul charge that trigger on all damage upon you, to a soul charge that trigger 1 spell each 40 seconds, that's just a too enormous difference , like Krinkle said. Can't they go with a small change (a 10 secondes cooldown) then test it out, if its too short go for 20 secondes ?

I agree 100% with Quickblade, soul charge need to be fixed again , in a fight, 40 secondes is way too long and as he said, you don't really control which spell will trigger to give you back mana, need to be revised to 20 secondes or under. I also like the idea you proposed for soul charge mode lasting a few seconds instead of a single spell that will soul charge.

I agree... soul charge cool down should be 20 seconds maximum. 40s is too long.

You really think that a shield that gives you endless mana is good for the game at all? Go ahead and PM the devs to put in the glass swords for SOTD on production shards. I mean as if the game isnt easy enough...
