I coulda swore we just had a publish like a week ago.......maybe the devs are at work doing their jobs, then goin home and chillin?? Hell, I would....work is a 4 letter word.

- yeah, I thought it was a pretty funny post too.
They broke 55 into two publishes because there was a lot involved in the original one; yet some actually seem to be expecting a new publish one week after the last.

Please tell me this was a sarcastic post Raven.



In other news, the Austin Game Developer's Conference ended today.
So since I'm here, does anyone have any feedback from that?

Don't know about Raven but I was not talking about the next publish...just about answering some of the question posted on the boards. :lick:

ya well i don't blame them after the Pub 55 mess...

they were all excited about SA and made a few posts but then they dropped the ball with Pub 55 and went silent when all the criticism started.

we've had stronger Dev's than this in the past tbh.

the problem is they thought SA was going to be a really big deal but this is the second time it has been "announced" and it isn't even coming until Q2 2009 or whatever they said. so who cares right now? talk to me after the new year.

in the meantime fix bugs please.

we ask for a few red healer's here and there and they give us 12 million at each gate
also it is clear QA/test center needs to be addressed. can't have another Pub 55 disaster.
etc...............

i think i'll give reactivation a few weeks this time around. see what kind of mess Pub 56 is before I go again.

I can't imagine they'd release two publishes this close together, even though they were originally one big publish. Particularly if the next one has event content, I expect it'll take some time to test everything. :)

Sarcasm is fun. BUT...
They did say its big so we broke it and I sort of expected it to follow this week.

So, Im serious. No news. No word. How about the info from the cancelled townhall or something.

Anyway. Next week I guess.

Must be full of goodies.

You would think if they are going to do some event for the 11th anniversary there would be something on the test center for this weekend, so that it could be put on Orgin early next week and released to everyone else on the 25th. Unless all we're getting this year is a card that says "I owe you another cake", then no patch is needed. Maybe something will be mentioned on the FOF.

i have to agree with all being said I would not expect one till at least next week if it were not my hope something would be done on the 25th.But testing might not be required and they might want to fix a few pub 55 bugs as part of 56 and we all now how it takes them time to QA.

This time not cake how about we owe you candy .

Since WAR just released, I'd bet that the entire Mythic staff is dealing with WAR related issues.

Less WAR than AGDC, but yeah, no 56 this week. It's shaping up, though.

The promised bugfixes would have been nice.
Pushing through the new stackables would have been wonderful.

We're not asking for much.
If pub 56 is gonna be HUGE, then I will put my seatbelt on and brace myself for problems. Seems huge publishes are riddled with new/or more bugs. Soooo, they should do quality testing for sure.

Of COURSE, I wasn't even thinking about GDC. Half of hubby's office is down in Austin for that this week, too.

Stackables would be very nice. Some further word on what will stack would be nice also - will the chocolate ingrediants stack? how about blackrock?

Am still waiting for barding a players pet to be included as a hostile act.

Sure not looking forward to the disruption of the "war" *sigh*. Sure glad they had the bug in pub 55 that gave us a heads up on that.

Yes, but we make them wear different-colored badges so we can find or avoid them as necessary :p
