With most every skill represented in New Haven to buy up and advance in,I am wondering why there is no oven found at the Gentle Rest Inn to train cooking.Is it possible that the Devs overlooked this or is it intentional?

This is a good point!
The other thing that I miss is a proper replacement for the rings of benches. The decoration in the centre is a nice development, but the benches don't function, and there are too few. Please?

I think it more likely that they'd expect you to train cooking in the Baker shop, where there is an oven, plus 2 cooks, a water trough and a flour mill.
