I do 2 at a time that way. Not that many though, I wouldn't want someone coming along and looting them before I got to.

I noticed them there during my lunch break. then when I got home I ran to see if they were still there, then a few other people showed up with greaters.
a couple of deaths (more like 5-6) we had them all down got another robe to add to my collection.
