Hey guys so I've been back close to a month now and finally starting to get all of my templates in working order. My biggest hangup at this point seems to be gear. Crafting now seems to be about 100x more intricate then when I left (Pre AoS gear).
So basically what I'm trying to figure out now is how to get a suit of all 70 resists. Most of the people I'm hanging around with are returning players also (but had only left a few years ago, as opposed to when I left) and have told me how important it is to have a full 70 suit....but can't tell me the nuances of crafting one.
My crafter has 120 BS, 105 imbuing, GM arms lore, tailor (I have a 120 scroll i found but didn't eat it yet), and carp.
I have a bunch of DC runics I found at an IDOC and a runic oak and ash saw I got from doing those quests. I don't have any runic tailoring kits.
So how do I go about making myself some decent gear? I'm somewhat confused on how all of these things work (and I've read a bit about the reforging/imbuing on here). Basically to get all of my resists up I'm going to want to look for items that have 1-2 high resists right? I then want to imbue up the lower resists? I'm really not sure what exactly I should be looking for as far as resists go.
I kind of got the gist from looking around that I want to have 1-2 baseline resists? I should be comparing item base properties to the ones that I actually craft to determine where the arms lore points have gone, like X/X/5/X/X depending on the piece and material?
I have a decent amount (to me) of materials, more ingots then anything else.
While not crafting related.... buying things is out of the question. The amount of gold that I had when I left and 10 years of inflation means I can't really buy anything at all. With so much new content I'm not really sure where to hunt (I can't kill much with my melee due to lack of gear, but my mystic/mage isn't too terrible [but the amount of gold I make would mean about 4 months of constant farming to actually buy 1 piece of gear]).
