some ideas for factions....

-faction towns need to have a bigger area so blues cant interfere in the fight. at least a 4 screen radius.
-the number of guards being summon in a day needs to be capped.
-the voted leader of a faction stone should be able to kick out any spy that is found, or maybe he can put it up for vote on the stone to kick someone
-Voted leader should be able to appoint who he wants to place his town traps. (stops enemies from hiding traps)
-attacking ur own faction member should not make u lose points unless it happens in the faction bases.
-should not be able to stealth when u got a Sig on u.
-when owning all the towns ur faction members should get a bonus. not sure what lol, maybe no stat loss, or +10 to defence chance... just something to make faction towns worth fighting for.
-vendors should have to be placed no more then 1 screen from a bank.
-20 min for stat just is way to long (reduce to 10) die 3xs that's an hr wasted
-fix Shadow Lord's faction base so dragons cant fly thro the floor (this is so not right)
-if a faction enimy kills ya, u should lose no more then 1 point until at 50, 50 to 100 2 points
-should not be able to join a faction till ur at least 1 month old.

anyways im sure im missing somethings... Ive been factions for a long time, and hear a lot of complaints about this stuff. would love to see most if not all fixed:)

That would be some nice changes, the big one everyone wants adressed right now is with benefictial acts.....

- Stats and skills should go up over a period of time during stat loss, instead of all at once
- Instead of losing points, points should keep going up as you fight faction enemies, spend the points on some kind of "faction only" equipment.. ;)
- Get rid of benefictial acting in Trammel rulesets, benefictial acts should only take place when fighting a faction enemy
- Allow faction leaders to put faction guards inside faction bases, this would make factioneers group up and raid more
- Add in a faction chat, this would really be huge and would come in handy

What ya think of that?

For the most part, they can't, except jump in the way and what not.
-the number of guards being summon in a day needs to be capped.
I see no problem with the number of guards, since they cost upkeep. BUT i would like to see a reason to kill them, maybe drop silver, or faction armor/weapons...

Disagree. This is how Facisim comes about.

Tweak the system. Allow infinite traps to be placed. They cost silver to make.
-attacking ur own faction member should not make u lose points unless it happens in the faction bases.
Vise versa.

Disagree. Theives are nerfed enough as it is

How about a reward/point system to encourage people to join, fight, and control cities

Im fine with 20minutes. Prevents people from rezzing and joining the battle too soon. Maybe put a formula behind it, like taking into account the size of the battle ect ect, and base the timer off of that.

we get this^ on SP too, even when guilded:/

the reason i say dont let new players in factions is because people cheat and kill them for points using the free 15day codes...

also with reducing stat time, we have a lot of pvp events and if two enemies factions duel the loser has to wait 20 min to participate again that's just ridiculous:/

I like idea of faction chat!!

Definitly remove benificial acts in trammel. And shorter stat loss time maybe 10mins, just sucks to have to wait to play the game. I'd also like more pvm envolved in the faction towns, maybe add appropriate spawn to match the faction that owns the town sigils. Atleast it could add another element to the game.

i agree, if u die 3xs thats an hr wasted, just no need for that:( 10 min should be long enuff. when people die most switch chars anyways.

Unique arties for each faction, purchaseable in silver.

That'll get all of Trammel stampeding over to join up.

instead make it to wear u cant reset the sig by holding it, it has to be place on monolith at least 15 min to reset....

im just trying to think of a way that a guild has a chance to get back a sig that they been holding for 9hrs, but then a thief comes along steals it and stealths off somewhere in this big world only to hold it for 15/30 min to reset the timer.

hmm I agree with you here. But what's worse is when they take in a private house and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Putting it on a monolith should be the only way to reset one.

Another thing I didn't like was the announced change that players can join the factions and get benefits during this invasion in Trammel? WTF is that? Some trammel player who never helps guard sigils and only came to fel once to join an uncapped faction get benefits from other's work? If you want benefits your butt better be in the stronghold pvping, laying traps, making boxes doing anything to help your faction.
