**SOLVED!** What idiot put a scurvy server line on my SoS coordinates?

I can't fish up the above SoS because there is some flipping great scurvy server line in the way of it. I've tried from both sides and get naught but boots, fish, and magical fish, which I don't care about and toss.

I can't get onto the location, either, because the server line won't let me. Anyone got any ideas? I'm already popping the bug report into a MIB, who knows, maybe they'll find it eventually.

it has been my experience that you dont have to fish on the exact spot, just within a few tiles. kind of like a treasure map chest just have to be close. try fishing in the water as close as you can get to the spot and see what happens. hope it works out for you

it has been my experience that you dont have to fish on the exact spot, just within a few tiles. kind of like a treasure map chest just have to be close. try fishing in the water as close as you can get to the spot and see what happens. hope it works out for you

As my original post said, I've already tried this. I tried on both sides of the coordinates and no chest-specific loot appeared.

If you think you can fish this particular SoS up on Oceania, feel free to PM me on this username, and I'll give it to your character, you can have anything you want out of this chest if you can fish it up.

Wow sorry I must be really sleepy tonight i totally missed the coordinates (among other things, sorry) let me look at it and I'll get back to you.

This is correct. Even more precise, all you have to do is be within the "whole number" area of the coordinates, so as long as the fishing takes place anywhere in the 168.XX N x 93.XX W zone (.XX can be anything) you SHOULD get the SOS to come up. However with a server line, a LOT of weirdness can happen up to an including not recognizing an SOS coordinate.

I've edited my original post, and the title, but in case anyone missed the edit, I finally had another go at this chest. I dug out a large dragon ship and after a few tries at navigating around to the spot, started fishing, and pulled her up, along with 7 pre-chest items.
