hello i was just down and hunted some fire deamons and

i got to say why do some designers think its fun to add a ton of critters around bad monsters

if i want to go kill fire deamons i want to go kill fire deamons not a ton of **** spawn that i am not after not only that but for some reasen the spawn seems to be like i am on a waiting line 5 mins of waiting then all brake lose with like 50 critters spawning


not only that but i cant even gate in or recall
one of the main reasen i like to play uo is that i can recall or gate and wen almoust all dungions is no gate no recall why would i bother go there


also i had a look and best ping i can get from thailand is 145 ping i guess they dont have this game for thailand after all


so i guess ither this going to be a game were i cant hunt because all the monsters is baced on 0 ping and max gear so i basikly just die to overbuffed critters with out even hitting the thing i am after hunting its like going on a buffalo hunt and shoting a ton of snakes

so this is furst day i bean to fire dungion and i must say i realy did think hard over just uninstaling and deliting all my chars

I kill fire demons with a ping of 250.

It's fine, there's a spawn that has them RIGHT AT THE ENTRANCE.

No big deal, no big whoop.

Sounds like a big whine with the last sentence.

Spawn was too hard so I felt like quiting?

Sounds likes it's your fault then, not the devs fault. Pick a better shard if lag is so much of a problem for you.

p.s. There are many monsters that I love to kill just for the heck of it. So many of them just simply don't spawn by themselves. Want it alone do some searching otherwise lure it to an empty area. You just got to work for some stuff in this game.

Just so you know, 300 and 250 are essentially the same. I've played on both.

Before you quit, get out of the Abyss, for starters, and travel to the northwest overworld section where the lava area is. There should be a single Fire Daemon over there, I think. Not sure, I haven't been over there since Beta. Then you don't have to worry about mini spawn.

I can't kill fire demons because of the spawn of minor creatures, I can't recall in abyss, I lag too much because I picked the wrong shard to play on, so I'm quiting, putting my stuff on the floor (Which is giving it to someone -_-) deleting my characters, and deleting all my friends from this game.

Seriously dude, look at what you're saying. If you're quiting over this. I'm surprised you played this game for "10 years." You just need to take a nap, wake up in the morning, realized you're just frustrated because something wtfpwned you. Take a sip of OJ, and move on.

Or you can quit, not really my problem either way.

Well, I'd say either look where I suggested, or ask friends for assistance, if possible. As much fun as it is to solo stuff, many of the parts of the game were indeed developed for multiple players ;P.

we have to say that you cant recall inside or gate, but you can recall away if you want...
and if I may, I would suggest to make another template before quit, because the best thing in this game is that you need long time to get a nice template, learn how to play it and make it always better

Most of the critters around Fire Daemons are the things you have to kill to GET THE FIRE DAEMONS TO SPAWN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

That is the nature of all champion spawns and reknowned spawns. Plus, every spawn of both these types always spawns two different types of creature per level, which aren't always compatible (poison eles and Terethan knight errants, anyone?). Perhaps the lower fire daemon spawn is the most evil in that regard, given that Demon and Elemental are opposed slayers, but both fire daemons and lava elementals aren't nearly as tough or as numerous as the crap that comes from the last tier of champs before the boss.

Typically, when a spawn advances, one needs to be extra-careful to clean up the leftovers from the previous level, before trying to farm the big guys, especially if one isn't trying to finish the spawn, but just farm the last tier.

Basic Geography, the nearest UO server to Thailand is in Taiwan, Formosa shard.
Distance from Bangkok to London (Europa server) 9545 km
Distance from Bangkok to Taipei (Formosa server) 2531 km.

Play on Formosa and your ping will be much better.

ok i could be mistaken but i think the language barrier has alot to do with what this guy was saying. I think he was taking a newby char to the abyss and trying to solo mini-champs. If that is the case,,regardless of his ping,,,he`d get his ass handed to him. I played at 3,000 ping before,,i know exactly what its like to lag like hell [ i still do at 200 ping and pvp]
In a situation like that you cannot take a newby char in the middle of spawn solo and live,,,or really any char other than say a sampire there and live.[assuming your not hidden/stealthed]
Bleh,,why am i explaining anyways,,,,peeps that know,,,know,,,those that dont,,,prollydont really wanna know `why` anyways
