So, when will Blessed items be auto-equiped after clicking corpse?

Its been broken for years and years and years...
It would also be nice if items re-equiped if you don't have any items on your corpse.
I hate that I have to put something on my body for the re-equip to work.
Of course, best case scenario is that after getting rezzed EVERYTHING would AUTO EQUIP but I guess that is too much to ask.
Nothing like getting killed by a mongbat while you franticaly search for your dagger stuck below a runebook.

Both UOAssist and the EC have dress macros which completely outfit your character in a single keystroke.
Ignoring interface features does not qualify as a bug in any context. Please spend some time reading the play guide and/or searching online before posting any more of these nonsense posts.
Using third party program doesnt make it a lesser problem.
If I remember right the changes come when blessed items used to stay on your corpse, and they somehow put it in some other virtuell bag to fix that bug.
But then the insured items should also be in some virtuell bag so I think they just need to try understand the code and fix it.

I actually use the UOAssist dress macros and there is no way that I could say it "outfits my character in a single keystroke". It takes several seconds to pick up each item, one at a time. If you attempt to do anything else while it is running (such as healing, mounting, recall, etc) then the macro will get messed up and take even more time to get itself sorted out so that you can attempt to run it again. In addition, if you change one item you have to remember to go back into UOAssist and resave your outfit.
Double clicking a corpse (assuming no blessed items) outfits your character in less than a second, there is really no comparison.
And finally, UOAssist features do not qualify as "interface features". UOAssist is a third-party program with minimal support that one has to pay for separately. Sometimes it has issues after UO patches and is not available for a bit of time. There is no guarantee that the developer will continue to update it for the foreseeable future, we can only hope.
Therefore, this is a bug and a dangerous one. Wandering healers are not always in the nicest places and will not stop you from getting rez-killed. Especially with the heavy usage of LRC suits, a person must re-equip before they can heal. This is a bug and it would be very nice if it was fixed.

I remember a dev saying that this would be very complicated to code, due to the different way insured and blessed items are handled.
I too am using a dress macro in the EC. Works like a charm while my friend always curses about his wonky UOAssist dress macro.

Yeah I guess the real answer is, don't use a 14 year old client and expect a good interface.
Still, it would be nice if clicking our corpse just equipped everything.
And Elspeth, I'll agree that UOAssist does not qualify as client interface, however last I remember the CC does have Arm macros. Should be enough to deal with wilderness spawn the instant you Rez.

With the EC having a dress macro and the CC dont and has to use UOA dress macro in truth, the remarks of a 3rd party app which is approved is the only fix for the CC.
Yah it's a bug with blessed items but the EC client dress macros is not a 3rd party app Maybe just using insurance instead of bless deeds is easier to deal with the bug

Client bashing really does get tedious and benefits exactly no one. 
It's not unreasonable to request a bug-fix in a supported client. My liking or disliking a client doesn't actually figure in the equation.

That sounds like it would work for a warrior. But I'm a bard/tamer/mage. Pet doesn't follow your ghost, can't cast spells with a weapon, hopefully you've remembered to insure your instrument and can do an area peace.
Ok that really doesn't have anything to do with your blessed items equipping or not. Bottom line is if you don't have an insured or blessed instrument on a bard, you are really asking to be killed by that mongbat.
And LadyNico, that was not client-bashing, it was stating a fact. I've no doubt the CC doesn't have a 1-key instant dress due to limitations of the client. Sorry if that hurts the feelings of the CC fan club but it's fact.
Funny thing is, when I used the CC as I did for a good 10 years, I never came to statics complaining about blessed items not equipping when I auto-looted. Come to think of it, there was no autoloot... Funny what the kids complain about these days.

yeah its also too bad that if they spend 5 minutes looking around there is an option to make the paperdol look exactly like the CC..
