Lol. When I returned once there wasn't that free month for vets returning going on. In the next couple days following my return, they decided to run that promotion. Hope that doesn't happen to you! I didn't mind but it was tad bit annoying that I didn't wait a couple days

Yes, bring back Veteran returns BUT, instead of just handing out free months, why not this time give a free month out IF the returning player also pays for a month ?

Basically, one gets 2 months at the price of 1 and the game gets some fresh extra revenues.....

It could work that when reactivating the account, in order to play, the returning player has to pay for the very 1st month but the player will be informed that the game play will be ensured for 2 months, not just one (1 paid for and 1 free...).

The one paid for got to be the first one, IMHO, to avoid players use the free month and deactivate the account before the 2nd month comes with the charges.

...the point of the free month for vets is so they can get a free look at the new changes in the game so they can see if they want to return without having to pay. They play for the free month, like what they see, get drawn in, and pay afterwards so they can keep playing. One month is more than enough time for someone to figure out if they want to stay. While two months for the price of one may seem cool, requiring it for returning vets to sample the current game destroys the whole idea of sampling the current game for free.

as a former rares collector... man, when that first happened I was soooo happy. it was amusing to know how many people had things like furs and old event items on accounts they pretty much forgot about.

Most vets that have left have been because of the changes. Bring back a classic shard and you would see a large influx of vets.

Usually they have the "welcome back to britania event" for inactive accounts around UO's anniversary, or at least they have in the past.

ty yes. I have like umm...5 accouts? a friend of mine had around 15+ accts. I dont want all 5 of my accts open... just my main! I want to run and frolic with my mare again... oh how i loved her...i am sure youd see some vets come back for a bit. Even with rumors of a classic shard.. hello? perfect time to give a free month
