You can't enhance with a recipe though ;P. Once item has over 5 mods you can't imbue it. But you can make some pretty interesting bows/carp weps w/ imbue and then enhance them, in which case imbuing can trump runic.You might wanna read your recipes...

So if you roll a 66 then you get 66% of the total damage back as mana??. Say the damage was 20 then 20*0.66=13 mana increase???? How about 100 damage? Two parts here:...If you have 16% HML then you get a random number 0-16 that is a percentage applied to the total damage from the weapon. So if you roll a 5 then you get 5% of the total damage back as mana. Say the damage was 20 then 20*0.05=1 mana increase.
If you have 66% HML then you get a number from 0-66 and that number is a percentage applied to the total damage back as mana. You could roll a zero or 5 or whatever up to 66.

1)If weapon has 66% HML, it means this is the percentage chance to have this property go off. So you have a good chance of it going off (more than half the time per hit). A 16% HML weap will go off very little.
2) As to how much you leech? You could roll a zero - xx (not sure what the math is). It's not zero -66 as you think. It's some other fuzzy math, but be assured it's a small amount of leech from the damage you do to the creature (but still useful). Same thing with Hit Life Leech (not as useful IMO). Hit Stamina Leech hasn't been nerfed this way and is in it's original math (as you listed above, I believe).
I could look it up, but I'll let you do it. It is something like that, but not quite that. It is 66% and then I think there is some kind of modifier or multiplier applied. But mana leech and life leech are applied on every hit. Now I have to drill through all those publish notes and Five on Fridays to find the formula. I wish there was a flat file of these notes so that we could search for "leech".

But my information regarding that formula is over 3 years old and I'm not about to test it myself (because I'm such a lazy bum).
