So I customized my Castle

So I just customized my castle (NW of the compassion shrine in the grass near road). The first time i tried i got a message that said it could not change because of an item in old castle. I redeeded all multipart items like torture racks, picked up any rubble, and redeeded multi tile items like light house or big pumpkin.

This time it changed (to spires) without a problem.

It might take me a few years to put back the 7159 items in the moving crate but It might be time to clean house for turn in points!

I wish I still had a Windows PC. I would login and go see it. Last time I tried to run the client on a Mac I got frustrated and gave up.

I converted my castle as well, to the Elsa castle. Its located North Minoc.

I converted mine to the Spires castle.. I will leave everything public for awhile if anyone wants to see the new design.. had no problems with the conversion and is still properly placed

So, you can convert your existing plots into new prefab designs aswell as customize it completely like a small house?

no you can't completely customize a castle or keep plot. you can customize the prefab designs some, especially the Spires castle leaves a lot of room to customize with stone crafted walls etc.

Thanks, Max. Damn. I dont like the new prefabs. I dont want to criticize any, but I can do better - and you aswell, Max. I made many Castle designs on 18x18 plots which had more details and originaliy. Unfortunately, I wasnt there, when the contest took place. Dont get me wrong, the designs are cool for 99 % of all players. But I am semi-professional customizer with a special taste and none of them meet my requirements.

On the other hand: 18x18 still remains to be valuable for players like me. Good thing!

they are planning to implement new designs with the upcoming publishes... then again it is wise to be careful with those kind of promises. Anyway, you might still get to design one. I might try my hand at a castle or keep design.

I like how Siege's own MissEcho was thinking ahead when designing hers to give people as much freedom as possible when using her design as a basis for further customization. Still not a castle I would use personally but I like what she did with it.

Yes, she did a good Job, indeed. With regard to space and options, this is a very nice solution!

I like how Siege's own MissEcho was thinking ahead when designing hers to give people as much freedom as possible when using her design as a basis for further customization. Still not a castle I would use personally but I like what she did with it.

I used her design and I like it a lot! - the only thing I wish she had done different is to add a teleporter to each level from the first floor (like in the new keep design)
