They are but it depends on which guild you Run with.
Mages will Extra Fail in TnT, Due to them being 100% Stealth Templates, Therefore unless you were a Stealth Mage, you would always be the first targeted and Killed.

Hehehe......your classic and childish of all. He asked about alchy mage, not guilds. But not only are you childish, you also have hard time comprehending.
Alchy mages are good, but the expl pots got nerfed compared to when you played.

Yeah stacking 2 Conflag pots which proc for 9-13 Damage Per Tile / Per Second isnt viable at all....
And As i said, which guild you run with greatly determines the effectiveness of a Template.

QFT. Running as one of the few (or only) mages in a guild, even with some shown templates around you, you are the primary target.
