If I have a Repond Slayer Necro spellbook equipped will I also get the benefit of the slayer bonus on Magery spells that I cast?

Yes all spells that use sdi benefit
I thought there was something wonky with this? Like magery benefits from all books but necro/mystic didn't? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought there was a reason I went out a bought a few necro slayer property books for my necro.

Only Magery and mysticism spells benefit from slayer.
Whether you hold a mysticism/necromancy/magery slayer spellbook

Thank you all! I'll still keep the 50 SDI book equipped when spamming Wither and just switch to the 30% Repond or Orc Slayer books when needed, especially for spamming Chain Lightning.

It's based off of spells that use eval.

You must have the spellbook equipped to receive the double damage bonus from most direct damage spells, and slayers granted by spellbooks only effect spells that make use of Evaluating Intelligence in their damage formulas (notable exceptions are Mind Blast and Harm). Note that Necromancy and Spellweaving spells are also not included.
Then why do mystic spells benefit
