Slasher of Screens

Tonight my wife and I encountered the Slasher of Veils for the first time.
I understand the creative direction of having the screen flash white but it doesn't help those prone to migranes and those with epilepsy.

Is there anyway to disable the screen flash?

I sorry but I read this and couldent stop laughing, I had this image of you and your wife playing Uo next to each other, The flashes start and one of you go down.
