this would have been a great opportunity to help remove gold from the community had they made the price higher while still within reasonable.
We debated this, and decided on the less expensive price for two reasons:
1> If it were made into a big-ticket purchase, we'd have to give it out free to everyone whose skin hue got lost. That would mean more development time and more testing for a fairly minor new feature. Bang for the buck, if you will.
2> Being able to change your skin tone to a normal hue for your race just didn't seem cool enough to justify making it be a big-ticket purchase. This is just the skin tone equivalent of hair dye.
