skill trouble?

Anyone else notice a couple of small changes in skills?

For instance for non-tamers who ride plain mounts, *ie horses and blue beetles* we used to be able to lore them to check on their happiness status. I can't get any of my non-tamer toons to get a lore on their mounts now *since the last patch/breakage/fixage*

Chiv at 65 skill I am having a terrible time getting df and eeo casted now. It will take up to 10-15 to get it cast.. that's at least double the amount of attempts it normally takes.

Anyone else seen these unannounced changes? or is it just my time in the RNG doghouse?

You've always needed lore as I recall. I used to keep a few points on my miner for the hell of it, but it became uneccesary with joat.

However, it's largely uneccesary since the free-bonding pets should never disobey an order. Their happiness should only decrease if you abandon them.

Never had any luck with either of those at 65.1, so I never use them.

I had a fisherman get kicked off a horse and have it go wild cause i didn't feed it. But yeah, even with the joat I've not been able to get a lore on the mounts.

i keep a ring with 14 or so lore of this exact reason and some day's i get it right off and other days it takes 20 or 30 tries it's the rng being it's own loving self

Yes there have been a few unsaid changes I have also noticed. Esp with a GM mage. Rarely ever failed at doing gate, now since last patch fail 2 to 3 times before one pops. Failed before maybe once in 100 tries if that, now it's a joke. Few others too, area peace for one on a 110 peacer no less. Ya the dev's try & fix one thing & screw up numerous other ones. it's getting so I play less & less because of many of their "unintentional" screw ups, because for one, they never refix them once they break them. It gets old after awhile.
And the one that WAS fixed for a few months & now RE-BROKEN again is the "this book needs time to recharge" message when a rune book is opened & immed try & recall/sac journey/gate or if you hit sac journey by mistake & then try to recall. The immediate opening of the rune book & getting the must recharge message is the most annoying one going!

Maybe they dropped that new RNG sub routine ,they have been working on, and it broke things worse.

Yeah! I had that error message yesterday too! On a 65 skill chiv, I couldn't sac journey home and had to recast, and got that message!

There are many issues across most all skills now.

Since I do not get paid for QA work for EA/Mythic, I rarely discuss them since they do pay people to do that exact work. This forces them to try and improve their QA processes as they loose subscriptions due to poor QA.

But you see, discussion on the shortfall of QA should be made visible so that they know in advance how p***ed their players are about crap work.
