(Player News) Skara Brae Archery Competition

[Ophelia]

Ranger Ophelia, Governor of Skara Brae, welcomed everyone to the ranger camp with a display of fireworks! Citizens from around the realm attended the election celebration and Archery tournament. Apparently there was some confusion by a few goblins thinking they were there for an apple pie making contest. Ophelia assured the goblins she would look into the invitation mix up herself! But Ranger Ophelia explained it was an apple balancing contest and to stand in front of the hay bales. The excited goblins ran off to practice for the contest.

Meanwhile, Ranger Ophelia had the archers string their bows and prepare for competition! There were several rounds of fierce competition and a great deal of screaming from the goblins. The archer competitors were still able to masterfully find their marks in spite of the goblins protests and squirming! Lord Angel of Death shot the most apples from the top of goblins heads and was awarded the Tournament's Golden Champion Bow! After a while the goblin insults and swearing finally died down!

Grog, the Skara Brae healer guildmaster, was happy to announce that no goblins were injured during the competition! Although a few were dehydrated. Thankfully there was plenty of Skara Brae Stout, Shattered Skull Ale, and pizza to help the goblins and competitors recover from the ordeal!

And not injoored! Wut yooz tink emtional distress is! Dat poor poor little goblin is still shaking and herz had da nightmarez. Da Great Gubnor Zoogi triez to act all brabe and say scarz are sexy. But, eben himz didn't want any apple pie ice cream. Yooz hummiez scared a goblin frum eating ice cream - dat's absollootly pyschologikal trauma!

Meez could go on and on but meez gotta go try and fill some holez in dere poor poor earz - beacuse yerg dem wuz hit a few timez! (walks off grumbling about lying Skara Brae healers.)
