I just started a char with chiv and I'm confused about the consecrate weapon skill. When I use it, there is not an icon in the buff area to let me know it's successful. The chiv book says the length of the skill is determined by my karma. How do I know when it has run out and when it needs to be recast? The other skills seem to create a buff icon so I can tell when they run out.

There is a sound that is played (I wish it was in buff Icon, or a message was displayed).

just go somewhere quiet and cast it, and wait for the sound when it comes off. Hard to describe sounds with text.

That's correct. For Cons Wep I believe the duration lenghth is 13 seconds. I could be mistaken on that but I seem to recall reading that somewhere.

We've been asking for a buff icon for Cons Wep for a long time now. The Dev's dont seem to be interested in putting one in as they've never even seen it as a question in the FoF, and it's a much re-quoted argument about whether it's needed or not.

As far as how to tell when it's gone off and when it's worn off is by the sound. They both have a distinctive sound made with a successful cast. Also, the casting creates a ghostly image of the weapon type you have in your hand that floats to the top of the screen.

Okay here you go. Timed rates for chivalry:

Concentrate weapon > 3 to 11 seconds depending on karma.
Divine Fury > 7 to 24 seconds depending on karma.
Enemy of one it will tell you but its about 180 seconds as Glorious.

I've gotten as high as 220 seconds at Glorious, but I was at the point where I'd long past where I could gain any karma from a paragon succubus.

Yeah good call. I knew it varied I was just giving an approximate estimate since most of my guys carry negative karma anyways.

Wow I have a hard time with those on my tamer. :bowdown: Any hints form the expert on how to handle those with my ABC archer?

BTW he has fits with paragon liches.

Orange petals are the big thing with them since they love to poison so much. That and timing your shots so that you're not standing in one place long enough for the para to catch up with you. It's a lot easier on a meleer. I use a Mage's Rune Blade that I crafted that not only has the SL & ML, but also have HLA. Combine that with my HLD Mace & Shield glasses with the fast swing speed of the rune blade and you'll tear through succubi with it.
