110 resist (looking for the cash for a 120)
rest in focus

well ive been trying to make a 70 lrc set and its hard with no cash so ive managed to get to 70/64/70/70/70 and i hold a new spell book with sdi of 28 fc2 dc8 lm 5% well the question is should i use the book in hand or use a boom stick then i have the free 20% lrc to use just a resist item of lether??

allso i have more fc and fcr on ring and bracelet with lrc on both aswell so as you can see im useing all means!

I'm not certain what shard you are on, but it could be the case that it IS more difficult depending where you are located. If you are on Atlantic, or one of the larger shards, it should not be THAT difficult to find a descent armor piece to boost your fire resist.

Personally speaking, I have never tried to rely on having a weapon or spellbook that has a portion of the LRC that I would need, in order to cast spells.

Say I am a dexxer or I am a pain in the butt disarm mage. If I see you using that weapon, then yes...I am going to disarm you. Maybe you have the weapon equipped just for kicks and giggles, but it won't hurt my feelings if I try to disarm just to see.

In the event that I disarm you and you were needing that item to cast, then not so good for you.

Always try to round out all or most of your pieces having LRC. Fill in LRC as needed in the jewelry slots.

Well that's kind of a mute point. Any mage carrying a weapon is going to get disarmed. How many mages stop to cast when disarmed?

I think my post was misunderstood. This was under the impression concerning what the OP had stated. IF you rely on a LRC carrying item then (i.e. a boomstick or something of that nautre), yeah I'm basically gonna disarm you. You won't be casting jack if you aren't carrying regs. Plain and simple.

I was using it as an example. Hence, i.e. But, since you want to be technical, here you go. e.g. boomstick, Spellbook that has LRC on it, etc. all. And, yes some people don't wise up.
