Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but when we give the world map to the ship captain and tell it to go to the pin, it will sail directly there, regardless of landmasses. They should be able to sail the ships around land...
Looks like Ship Tracking, once activated, lasts only 1 minute. Then you have to say it again. Not sure if that is really useful unless you are in pursuit of someone. If you are trying to find pirates, just have to spam it I guess.
Hi. Me and some friends decided to go pirate bounty hunting and went to felucca.
I was on my Gargoyle ship boat and had a hard time finding pirates. We found shore and used a friend's boat which was a tokuno boat. He said "Start Tracking" and several arrow tracks appeared on the screen. So i went to my Gargoyle ship and said "Start Tracking" and it didnt work. Is it intended that "Start Tracking" only works on Tokuno ships and not Gargoyle ships? That's so unfair.
no it works on all ships its just pretty broken.
from what i gather, you can only call ship tracking about 4-5 times on a boat until it stops working completely. i think i dry-docked my boat and replaced it and got to track again. makes hunting a nightmare when tracking stops.
Id like to see ship tracking stay on and update regularly as long as you have a spyglass equipped. or at least make it a stable thing to call out.
