Shard transfer shields/tokens

It is an extremely valuable and useful reward that is also a great deco. Not enough for you though eh popps?

Don't get many things in the game "updated" and bettered all the time ?

Why Shard Shields should be dealt with any differently ?

I mean, even if Shard Shields are a plus as to what it was before without them, if -with a little extra effort- they can accomodate the needs of other players who may wish to hop other servers for PvP and different Communities meet up reasons, why not do it ? Why not extend the enjoyability of the game for other players who do not care about doing business back and forth between Shard A and Shard B over and over and over but who'd rather much more prefer to use the tokens to briefly hop on all other servers (of course still under the restriction of 1 per month... ) to extend their PvP on shards other then their main ??

Especially, since this small change would not hurt much anything........

1) At the age where you are able to claim a shield token you have amassed well over 20 rewards. Maybe if this is such a big deal to you popps you should simply claim one shield for every shard. Your issue is solved. You didnt save all your rewards? Oh well.

2) You want to shard hop but dont know where you may want to go? Thats just silly but either way it is easily fixed. Buy a transfer if and when you decide where you want to go. Your issue is solved.

3) You want the Devs to continue to give out rewards(btw, I think one problem is that you dont understand the meaning of reward)but in the future they should consult you afterwards to see if they can personally tweak then for you? Maybe you should apply at Mythic so that you can this yourself. Your issue is solved.

Shard shields and other reward items are account age based, the selling of and trading is an option long held in some circles as a players rights, but to be honest... it is not. Rewards is for time served in game and any gift given is for that account that earned it. To quibble on rights is out of hand, if you do the time you earned the gift selection. Shard shields are as they should be: account bound. To "bite the hand that gives the gift" is wrong in all respects. EA/Mythic does not need to do this, but has as a way of saying thank you to players for years of devotion to UO. For the last few reward years many things have been added that have been broadly sprinkled for different years of age of game play. It is understandable for the want of the older account age gifts. but ... you need to earn with game play. Dont worry time flys when you have fun. Go play uo and you will see the years fly by.
