But anyway.... Could all the major guilds plz reply to this thread and tell me the best time for a drop. Probably not today maybe thursday?

Great idea nush, BUT you have to consider this shard's player base. I.e it won't be pvp, it'll be gank the red SSO, because the rest of the guilds are blue gutless maggots who'd rather loot than pvp (as they hate a challenge).

I'm all for you doing it, and i hope when you do SSO has all it's members on, as we could take down the nubs and have a great event. If we don't it'll be a pretty sad event =(.

I suggest not dropping it unless all guilds comply and use reds etc, no cowardly behaviour.

i remember when drac or dal (can't remember) were throwing totally crap items at bmg to try and lure kovers out of GZ, within 10 minutes of us unloading a huge amount of crap, KOV's numbers turned from like 4 to 12+, ALL BLUE, and around 30% stealthing just trying to grab these items. It was sad at best, these nubs were just bolting in, then bolting out back to gz while trying to grab 1 or 2 items. They had 0 interest in fighting, and were purely there to try and scab a free few items. Now these items were like horned runic kit ar that should of been recyled and 1k gold piles with a few 5k checks.

Hopefully this gives u some insight into the types of players oceania is littered with. So yeah, i'd say only drop it if pvp breaks out, and the other guilds actually fight, not stealth/sit in gz's.

I'll be collapsing it manually so if theres no fighting.. no drop lol... and what i might actually do it fight on my suit.. but at some point of the fight i'll stop "auto insurance" that way i can also be part of the fight. SHame i dun have a mage suit anymroe from what i hva eexperienced in the morning it really is gank galore... TOS... 3-4 ppl.. where almost each of them can 3 hit me.... didn't have a trapped box on me at the time so that didn't help lol.

And plus omg what the hell did they do to karma gaining.. went to dark lords.... they spawn slower then tram.. is this a joke.. only suit i have left is for a necro paladin dexxer and i can't do **** anymore... would be nice to be able to remove curses lol...

And yes a requirement for drop is that a large portion of SSO r to be on. I won't let 1 sso vs the shard wouild be stupid. It seems liek its PP vs a few lone rangers vs SSO vs TOS + MDK

'Special Shards' are only good when you have many members.

With your ping vs theirs and their numbers you will die so quick.

The gameplay is totally different.

Requiring tactics for specials (screwed up mage pvp... well didn't *** it up but did make it more alot more annoying... why complicate things when the system was perfectly fine)

Spawn time in fel... ummm fel is meant to be risk vs reward... they r completely going against that idea...

and no.1 problem (ITEM BASED)... yes this has changed for ages but still i remember the times when u havea long spear and u'd para people... carry that big hammer looking mace... crushing blow etc....

I was hopng my house hadn't fallen.. it has.. soi cbbed regaining items when will porlly get deleted in a year... maybe a bit more bcz uo will eventually die.

History repeats itself and uo will keep getting crapper and crapper...


With a slightly slower ping u can always adapt ur style of play.... isn't the end of the world. But by nerfing everything it ruins it for intelligent people who still play. I dun want to play a game with fricken classes.. this is what uo is becoming they r forcing you to play new classes. Hybrids r a dying race. Half my fun when i played was coming up with brand new unique templates to pvp with. A template with 4 offensive skills, a real assassin (ninja, dp, chiv dexxer) rather then ur crappy kov stealth assassins etc.... Yes some were gimp but its fun playing new classes. But IMO altho its gimp it requires more skill then half the warriors around.. U r literally point and click... i on the other ahdn with a necro chiv dexxer have to also cast spells.. which i do prolly more often then use my primary/secondary specials.



There... thats what i see wrong with official shards... now compare that to what u said about "special" ones... i think its pretty obvious which one is better.

As much as i hate to admit it, I agree with this post 100%. Someone will come through on there stealther and end up snagging everything of value, leaving nothing to the pvpers who would be fighitng for it

Why dont you make it a pvp tourny with the winner/winning team gettin access to ur house and containers or something. Can even force the Toc swarm to fight rons 8v4. lol. But seriously make it an individual event/teams event and have prizes or something. Cause all it will be is a gank fest from the swarm plus the other half the swarm stealthing and looting like desperate children.

Well just a possibility see how much better SSO really r to TOS.. off course it'll be like best to 2 etc... like 3 battles incase they *** up once etc...
