Set Entire Container Security At Once?

Simple question, I've started working on a lore library on Europa, but every time I want to move a book about so it's visible in each client, I have to unsecure the entire container, then Lock This Down, and then set the security setting for every book individually again... this can get quite tiresome when there's a lot of books and I just wanted to add one more! So is there a way to set the entire container, all sub containers, and all books to one setting (Anyone) all at once?

You used to be able to release and lock down items individually within a locked down container .... i forget when it changed ... but has been quite annoying

i have yet to find anyway around releasing the entire container to move things ...

as far as the books in the container, i had assumed the overall setting would take care of it ... i utilize wooden benches and other items for visible shelving, never went the container route, so sorry no help there either ... but good to know as i was thinking about putting together a library as well, using bookshelves ... might have to rethink if it's the pain it sounds like heh

It's been an annoyance ever since they changed that. It's a major in my opinion BUG that needs fixing. And your right its a royal pain.

I'm afraid the primary container setting doesn't allow you to read books if you're not the owner; I got some in game friends to test this, using both clients. I could open them no matter what the setting, but they were limited by the current security setting. And yes, you also can't unlock them individually, it was the first thing I tried.

I don't mind for my own things, as I use the EC exclusively, so nothing get's over-stacked, but for a public lore library, it needs to be visible for both, which means sloooooow resetting every time, and closing it up to the public if I'm moving a lot of rare EM reward books
