Hello everyone. I used to play UO a few years ago and was considering getting back into the game now that my financial situation is much better off.

I use to play on Origin.

My question before I get back into the game is which shards have a good population size. At the time I left UO, Origin seemed to be losing population.

Thanks for any help

Atlantic has the largest population followed by Great Lakes. For the West Coast, I think Pacific is probably the largest.

However, Shards seem to be more play-style focused now... Atlantic has some of everything... others seem to be more PVP, RP, or PVM focused.

Once you download the client, the shard list can give you an indication. If I remember right, the 2D list can be sorted by "currently online" population. In the Enhanced Client, the list will tell you if the "currently online" population is considered "Low", "Medium", or "High". Best to check around prime-time for that shard to get a better comparison.
