To be honest, I would assume Scaffold has been duped a lot. One of my friends gave me a gift certificate for a website that sells UO gold and items for cash. One of the items on the website is Scaffold, so that is how I got mine. But, the fact that a website has multiple Scaffolds to sell should indicate that it has been duped.
And to be even more honest, the reason I'm selling it is because after all the server-birth rares that have been recreated as common items -- most recently the two piece ankh and harrow -- I'm afraid scaffold will soon follow. At any rate, someone else can take that gamble.
