[Selling] Selling Old School Colored Cakes

Greetings all! I am looking to sell these pastel colored cakes that I have had for many years. They aren't anniversary cakes, holiday cakes, or any other type of current event item. I am not 100% sure of the history behind them, all I know is they have been a part of my collection for a very long time. I am taking offers on them currently and right now not to sure of a Buyout. You can post offers here or ICQ me for more information. I am selling individually, however, a package deal would not be out of the question. Thank you.

the "Happy Birthday! Thank You For Celebrating 5 Years Of Glorious Adventure With Ultima Online" cakes stack (if the hues are the same), so I would have to guess that they are from the stacked item re-naming bug.

I do not believe the cakes stacked until recently. I know that grey cakes could be made via the exploit. I haven't seen any colors other than that floating around on the vendors who sell all the items from the exploit. There were colored cakes given out by seers a long time ago including a few tie-dye cakes.

These cakes are not from any recent exploit as such commented. I have had these cakes for over 13 years. I also had the fire hued cake that was sold for 1.05 bil in August of last year. It matched the Daemon candle that Orich owns on ATL. The "Happy Birthday Cakes" are different hued, may be some close. Like I said, I dont know the exact History but Assia is on the right path, could have been from Seers many years ago. Feel free to ask me any other questions, and I do value these way higher than what has been posted. If I dont get out of them what I possibly am looking for then they will go back in my collection. Thanks all:)

Regardless of how long you've had them, with the recent stacking "bug" these are common colors of cakes that were handed out and were able to recently be stacked to lose the name.
My offer was a fair one. If you value them more, that I can understand, I value quite a few of my items more than what they are actually worth.
The colors of the cakes came straight off of the regular dye tub so they aren't rare anymore sorry to say. Yes anything blaze or any other color that does not occur on the dye tub will retain it's value.

Does anyone know if they fixed the stack bug issue? I remember at one time many stack-able items can be made generic such as vials of the new ingredients like goblin blood etc...

As far as these cakes goes Johnny is an old player so not surprising he would have these things stashed in his vault somewhere. We can apply some logic to this folks, if the stacking trick was used you would not just see these cakes now but long before along with the other stacked-bugged related items. The fact that he is the only one with them and seen no where else suggests those are indeed Seer cakes.

Now of course if more shows up in the coming days we can throw him to the burning stakes and fry him then LOL. So this may serve to his advantage over time i.e. if none shows up in the coming days/weeks/months it will establish the legitimacy and he can then ask for 500 mil each.

I just want to make it perfectly clear, I wasn't accusing Johnny of anything. He and I talked over ICQ last night and I explained that he posted he wasn't sure of the cakes' origin, and I offered a possible one. Had he posted that a seer had given them to him, there would have been no discussion.

Just want to be sure I'm not coming off like an a-hole here... just gave an educated guess.

Well I adore that green cake, and since we atm don't know if more will show up or not..... I'd like to offer 50 mil just for the green one.

I've since been informed that similar cakes have indeed poped up on vendors for as low as 20 mil. Guess that solves that issue.

The only cakes ive seen in this post so far is Jonny's cakes. There are none on search no one has produced an example of the so called stacked cakes just hear say. So until I see some real proof I would consider these legit.

I appreciate everyone's comments. These are legit and as Manticore put it, I have had these stashed away. If someone can show me some of these "other" cakes then please do. I have looked through UO Search and wen through vendors and haven't seen anything. If someone does come across or knows of any to compare to, please enlighten me. I have no reason to try to sell something that has been exploited, so want to clear that up:) Thanks all.

ok guys enough whit the these are "duped/exploited" cakes this is a selling thread not a discussion thread.

i can 100% say these are the real deal cakes i know this person and he is a damn pack rat to the max and to be honest 75% of the crap he has he don't even realize what it is or has.

so whit that said.
you either want to buy them or you don't plain and simple

Just want to say my offer stands at 50M for all. I am not saying the cakes are somehow not "legit" of course they are they exist in game. I have no doubt they've been in this guys chest for a decade or more. I also know that for a while they could be made, which is why my offer may seem "low" to him. Also I am not buying to resell but rather to display in my little cafe.
Seems like a big deal is being made about it. No one really cares lol.
Sir, if you decide you'd sell for 50M for the lot please let me know.

There are those 4 Johnny has, the fire one he sold, a mostly black with a neon edge one (not sure if that was linemans skittle cake he sold) and I have the orange one. I haven't run across any others. I know I looted my orange one at an IDOC many years ago. We all live on Pacific so perhaps he looted his at the same house.

Twilight Eyes (also from Pacific) has an old website with a picture of the cakes along with a write up as well as info on other old rares.

Great find on the website! I couldn't find the link. These are the cakes pictured. Its been so long that I cant remember if I bought or found in IDOC. Regardless, these are the real deal. Thx Xblade and yard, you guys know I have allot of stuff and these are just the tip of the Iceberg! I had every one of these except the orange one, and Yes, I did have the Fire Hued cake and sold it last year. cake post.JPG

If they were Twilight's then I sold it to her back then heh. Haven't heard that name in a long time.

Don't get me wrong, these cakes are legit, they were never in question. I did some more investigation last night and the latest is they were never physically confirmed at least through those who contacted me. The question comes down to is if the hue exists in the anniversary cakes then what makes it more rare is only in the name. How much is the name worth to you and to Johnny is the question.

The other thing to consider is duping's birth shard is Pacific along with the original sigil dye incident. Even though Hounds of Hell got their entire Tower on Stilts wiped clean by the GM, a few of us who knew what really happened always had an uneasy feeling of some of the other items got loose and over the years turning up at IDOCs. Ah well, those are long forgotten memories.

Well goshdarnit all to oblivious! After reading all the above posts I don't think we have an answer as for sure these cakes origin...BUT I still like that darn green one.

I want back in the race... 50 mil for the green one!

With all I have read through this post I can imagine it has been a roller coaster ride for all. Me, I'm good either way. I know they are legit and not an exploit. I think some of you now believe that as well. I am looking for 400 mil per cake if anyone is interested. If someone is interested in a package deal for all 4 cakes then you can contact me as well as post here on this thread. I have spoken with many people on this and feel that this is a fair price. I honestly valued them higher due to the lack of these items in game. Bottom line, this is business and looking to make some gold. If your interested feel free to post, if not, no need to bash what I am looking for. Again, thanks for your time and look forward to hearing from those collectors who have been searching for something like these to add in their personal collection. I could possibly be open to negotiations, but everyone wants to know what I'm looking for so here it is. Thanks all!

There IS one in a castle on Drach, I just saw it last week. But I really doubt it's for sale. lol

Hah, I'd forgotten that I still have that site up. Obviously I haven't touched in ... 10 years? More?

I'm sure I still have them all buried in one of the keeps or castle or luna mall or something.

Still really sad that Miss D's real estate all fell; I bet there were some idoc'ers that had a field day when that happened. (She has cancer and has not been playing, does not have a computer that runs UO. She just signed over all of her accounts to me a week or two ago when the billing on the Luna Mall canceled so I was able to get it going again. None of her accounts are active except the one holding the Mall which is actually my old account.)
