Ok the count is as follows:

Darsus 2 (confirmed by me),
Britany 1 of the original ones locked down on atl (confirmed by me), and
Chao 1 on Atlantic too (confirmed by me)
Rammstein X 1 on Chessy according to chaosy (confirmed by Broli of Cks)
Manticore 1(confirmed by treyster)
Nails 1 (confirmed by treyster)
Tenbears Pacific (unconfirmed)
Parkay 1 for sale atm (according to his post, possibly one of the above)

That makes it a total of 7 sashes. Unless some of the ones that are confirmed by other people turn out to be false confirmations or the numbers given out were underreported (waiting on confirming that), it would be a reasonable assumption that the sash was indeed duped. How many actually exist at this point would be a guessing game.

Good work Tomas. If they're atleast 7 out there (confirmed), when there should be only 5(confirmed), then who's to say there aren't hundreds of these lying around in some random dupers house? Granted, that many is rather ridiculous, but at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

But Xena... something on Baja (one of the original owners) still have hers. She dresses in red and hangs around Luna.

The original 5 owners were:

Xenna..... (still have hers)
Her boyfriend (sold it on Ebay)
Britanny (still have his)
Gandolf (sold his to guildie on Atlantic)
I think Raffman or one of the gudies (sold it within 2 days on ebay)

What went on afterwards its anyone's guess.

If this is the case, then that knocks the number of confirmed ones back down to 5. Given that only two of the original ones were sold and it was only a couple days before the dupe block, I think it's safe to assume that IF it was duped, it wasn't to the extent many other items were. This will probably be the best we can manage for the never-ended Lieutenant sash argument. Hats off to everyone who put their work into the not-quite-so-solved mystery.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot about Rammstein's sash. Doh! That makes 6 that I'm fairly certain of unless he's sold it in the last month.
