A friend of mine got one off a camp near Wrong, near his own house. It was just pure luck. This was 3 years ago.

Yes the evil mage camps are very rare spawning as they need a large clear area to spawn and there isn't very many of those left due to player housing, Wrong is the most common space they spawn now i beleive
