Scalis Lately

Just wondering if anyone has done scalis lately (last couple weeks) and gotten a drop?

We have thrown out 49 nets, pulled 14 scalis's and got ZERO drops? Is this normal?

Just want to make sure the drops didnt get turned off... Before we were averaging 1 drop in 4 scalis. Maybe the RNG has turned against us!

I did 4 with my guild mates and NO one got any kind of drop. We have given up on him for the moment.

Believe or not I have killed at least 100 acid elemental mini champs since SA release, and have gotten nothing but gems. While my guildie got 2 breastplate of berserkers in 3 pixie spawns. Go figure... is it normal? I have no clue.

Hi, my friend threw in 2 white nets on Thursday afternoon two days ago. First net was a Leviathan. Second net, was a Scalis.

It was his first Scalis, after recently buying High Seas expansion. He got a Leviathan hide bracers. (Note: Try throwing the net in Buc's Den for drops).

Thats what happens when you got a streaky rng and a very low chance for a drop. You could farm something until you die of old age and never get a drop.
Its basically the same with all bosses that have a chance to drop something rare.

Yea - our guild has done a dozen or so of these and finally someone got one item. The drop rate is very poor.

I made a typo above, they got 2 breastplate of berserker THEN 2 swords of shattering hope in 3 pixie spawns.

Also while everyone tells me that slither is not that rare of a drop from Medusa yet I cant seem to get anything other than the fey slaying bow (I got like 8 of these already).

We did Scalis earlier this week and no drop - previously though we did have a guildie get a drop; it's the RNG Gods. We also do ours always at Buc's Den. Don't give up! Think of the comradery these spawns build!

We did a shardwide net drop late last week. Threw in first net got scalis... my thrower got the coral bracelet in his pack. The next 10 nets or so we never got Scalis to pop. Didn't hear of anyone else getting any drops on the one we popped.

I believe wearing a feathered hat and swimming in the reverse flow of salmon will provide a brief increase to your chances of getting drops from Scalis. The problem is the art team hasn't designed the swim animation yet, so right now it's a whole lot of being next to a waterfall and trying to move about.

I tought that with scalis its not supposed to drop...

cause if scalis dosen't work nothing else will ?

Hi, yea for me i've fought Scalis numerous times and no one got anything.

Why even throw a white net in and fight him if not one person gets anything? You might as well just use the white net as Table cloth.

Before High Seas booster, the white nets were used to get that Seahorse statuette, from the Leviathan. You'll be lucky if anyone gets that too, even if you do wear a high luck suit. And i'd say you have 1% drop rate to get anything off Scalis.

Are we suppose to fight Scalis on a boat to get a drop? Maybe get his claw as a souvenir? I dunno. I'm done trying to get anything off this guy. Anyone else had any luck with this guy?

Or just let this guy drop a 120 Fishing PS or something...!!

I pulled the single tile forge and the leviathan hide bracers from the same Scalis last week (two characters, different accounts). Got the moonblade and wand from the same champ over the weekend. I've only done 5 Scalis total, so I guess my results aren't typical.
