Saw updated list on turn-ins, Obsidian Blades and Vanguard Chaos Shields worth

EA Japan has twice updated today.

At first, they reported that Obsidian swords and Chaos shields are worth 25,000 pts but before 3 hours they updated once more and reduced them to 2,500 pts.

I suppose, EA Japan got the right information from somewhere.

Now this would make more sense.

i hope they get reduced to 2.5k, if they stay at 25k per every reward you get is going to drop in value significantly

well, if they drop back to 2500, there will be once again no point to go back to the spawn. If they keep it at 25000, more people will go back to the spawn. Its a fine edged sword there.

I believe the point of the higher point value is to a) bring people back to the spawn to kill the spawn b) get as many of these out of the system as possible c) when b is met, reveal what the actual use for these items are. The last one being my opinion only, but then again.....

I would love to see you kill a vanguard on a pally solo. What shard you on? I would like to watch.

I've done it on mine also Grace. It takes a while because of having to deal with the spawn and the teleporting, but it's very much doable. If you want to meet up and start wiping out each city let me know. It goes a lot faster when there's 2 people.

I was optimistic that the high point value will increase event participation too. If they drop the values down to 2500, I'm not sure what will happen. At least they are on the list as a turn-in.

threads and cloaks of corruption will not be a turn in, draconi stated on the old stratics that there will be a future use for the threads and cloaks.

My template is chopped up right now too, so it should be easier once i get to where i want it ( i soulstoned about 4 skills off/on few days ago).

Its tough, you have to stay on your toes, and probably run off screen 5 times. I tried to solo these with my dexer for the first time last night. Killed 2 without dying, then on the third one i died 3 times.

When he summons all the creatures, you definately have to lure controller away. WHen controller teleports back, go back in and kill the summoned. Never try to kill everything at once, because they will slaughter you in seconds.

Not to complain, but I think that is a bit high. I bought 2 of the items as soon as I heard, and I went out and got like 4-5 last night. I gave one away to a tamer who was helping me (when I got both of the items), but still for a few hours work, that's a lot of points. I spent the weekend hunting Miasma for ingenious maps and ophidians for rations and didn't get 100k points.

i would love to see them at 25k as i agree with wrath that it rewards those that have been fighting the invasion. but im guessing it will end up at 2.5k

Checked the Origin publish guide, and they reduced them to 2.5k. This means I jumped the gun on purchasing a few extra, but that's always the risk with speculation.

Makes lot lot more sense to me...Hey ive got a heaps....lucky i bought loads cheap form players...It would have made me heaps of points, BUT IT WAS VERY UNBALANCED!!!

My 40 swords or 40 shields for 1,000,000 points was plain silly!!!!

My 40 swords or 40 shields for 100,000 points makes more sense and levels the other stuff that are turninable!!!

Still wonder why I never found a ghost anchor or a sea horse statue my fisher has obtained many many white nets(i should have saved them for turn in so take my chests instead lol) and logged on with my mage killed the beasty and best I ever found was a bunch of marties or rope lol

Someone saw me fishing and offered me 15mil to obtain one(sea horse statue)
so I dont Think I will be trading a 15m item(if I had it) for 25k points
