sampire weapon skill question

whats the best weapon skill to raise for soloing doom and peerless, mace swords or fencing?

I am partial to whirlwind. You hardly have time to cut the bones when solo'g.

But fast macing (blackstaff, which cannot be crafted) and fencing (kama, 2 handed, fast but low damage) weapons with whirlwind is a bit lacking.

So I'd go with swords - twinkling scimitar.

Honestly it's going to come down to what weapon you can find. Building the skill is the easy part finding the right weapon can be a challenge. If you go with swords, yes you can start with a soul seeker but once you want to graduate to a higher damage weapon prepare to drop some serious coin. Mace weapons can be a little cheaper, then fencing weapons.

Silent is right: if you have a good sampire weapon, go with whatever skill it uses. I started swords, but have found it to be much easier to craft a usable fencing sampire weapon (magekiller leafblades are a lifesaver), so I've stoned swords and am using fencing now, to good effect.

I went for macing because I like the DPS of the diamond mace and 120 macing scroll is dirt cheap.

120 macing scroll today is 595K - swords is 6 mil. Fencing can be found for a couple mil.

Macing weapons are dirt cheap, but a good one is hard to find and make. More sword weapons can be found on my shard vendors because more players are using swords and making those weapons. Good fencing weapons seem to be the easiest to find and make. My best Doom weapon is a demon slayer kryss with 48% HML, 47% DI with a Conjurer's Trinket.

I couldn't decide, so I finally did what Connor did and got all three skills. Maces and fencing are already at 120. I am looking for a great sword weapon to max that skill now.

But... I still don't have the technique or skill to solo Doom, even if I do have the weapons.
