Here is the suit! Some items still need to be aquired and they are marked with a "*" and there is a little explination at the bottom why I chose certain things. Here Goes:

70/70/70/70/75
Hit Lower Defense 30%
43% Defense Chance
43% Hit Chance
80% Damage Increase
2 Hit Point Regeneration
+21 DEX
+27 STR
+10 INT
+40 Stamina Increase
+25 Hit Point Increase
+18 Mana Increase
100% Lower Reagent Cost

The Suit uses: *Tangle, *Mace and Shield, *Cloak of Death, Poison Resist Earrings, Snake Skin Boots, *Conjurer's Trinket/Primer on Arms and Quiver of Infinity.

Time for some 'spaining Lucy! First "WTF" you probably have is why 100% LRC??? Well, when you do die you are usually a ways off from your body when you rez meaning your regs for Vamp Form are far from you as well. And usually by the time I do get back to my body the regs have been looted! In addition, having 100% LRC means you do not use any tithing points and anyone who has run out of tithing knows how deadly that can be! With 100% LRC it also opens you up to using other necro spells.

Next there are no regens or LMC on my suit. I have mana drain and stamina drain on all of my imbued weapons, I have never had a need for additional regens. With the additional mana, stamina and hit points on the suit it would be rare to run out of any of them!

Anyhow, that is the suit. I hope I can come up with the money to buy the last few items to complete it as I think it is pretty much just what the doctor ordered. Any questions?

You can always just insure an arcane item. Then if you die, put it on and cast vamp. Then you could add more to your armor. This is what I do.

Storm- The HLD is from Mace and Shield. I would have used Stormgrip as well but would have only added a little DI and I would have had trouble getting everything else on it. Wish I could have fond 2% more DCI/HCI but oh well, since a Sampire does not use a shield I guess 43/43 isn't too bad.

Black Tom- True, however after looking at all the possibilities for mods added to the suit it looked like the most useful thing to me. No need for regens, already all 70s+ No need for LMC with the leeches off weapons, it just seemed right.

Nice suit. Some thoughts:

1) Sampires survive off leeching. You leech more when you hit for higher damage. Thus recommend you get 100 DI.

2) I would find a way to get 45 DCI. You are close, but not quite there.

3) 43 HCI is nice, but probably a little over kill if you are spamming lightning strike repeatedly.

4) I think you can do without the LRC. Use the arcane boots recommended.

5) I would trade the tangle for a crimson cincture for the dex and hit point (unless you are already at 150 DEX - not stamina - or already have 25 hp increase).

I recently tried heartwood armor pieces for my elf sampire. I was able to save having to put as much DI (or HCI) else where on my suit. Anyways, nice suit. Just some thoughts to ponder.

Thanks for the things to ponder. Guess I'll see what I can do with stormgrip and fey legs.

Zombie,

For DCI, I use:

Fey Leggings - 20
Quiver of Infinity - 5
Conjurer's Garb - 5
Ring - 15

I try to only use one armor piece with DCI on it so I can ensure I max my stamina increase, hit point increase, and still get my 70/70/70/70/75 while in vamp form. Of course you can have the 15 DCI on the brace or split it between the two (but then it kills 2/10 jewelry mod slots instead of 1/10).

If I can't get a Conjurer's Garb, I purposely put 10 DCI on both the ring and the brace each and then use a Shroud of the Condemned. I still would not trade the Crimson for the Tangle, but that is an option if you got lucky enough to have one drop in your pack.
