I play Siege & if you want a challenge so bad I suggest you do the same.

That explains alot. Thanks but no thanks, I can find plenty of challenges on a normal shard to entertain me.

Although I do retract my Tram ruleset part of the comment above, did not know you played Siege when I said that.

To all you old-timer UO players back in 98'/99' don't you remember going down to bottom of Hythloth with like 20 people to kill a Balron Daemon?
Yes. In 1998, we were doing Hyth 3 with three master mages. (Master was more than respectable back then, when the regs to GM magery cost at least 100K, i.e. the loot from several hundred liches.) Balrons moved a bit slowly, and Stratics' old page noted that a player with lag could outrun them. However, they could occasionally kill you in one hit, despite full-plate AR33. So for safety, it was a matter of recalling into the semi-safe room with teleport tiles. Meditation wasn't introduced until January 1999, so casting EVs took forever. Once it got low on health, we'd cast e-bolt, run onto the tile to get teleported into the main area, fire at the balron, then run onto the tile to get teleported back into the room. At the time I had one of the first GM bards we knew of, which helped a little when a red daemon wandered near. The line-of-sight provocation requirement wasn't yet introduced, which was was insanely useful when T2A opened up. The terathan keep was really fun..

War stories aside, my problem with the paragon servants is not the challenge, but the absurdity of how continuously they cast while latching onto your heels. Unless you have Protection on, you won't be able to get off any spells. Cure potions, orange petals and heal potions tend only to delay the inevitable.

That said, since the paragons appeared, I've been soloing them with my peace/disco tamer and an upper echelon greater dragon. I come up from the south side, then lure them one by one down the narrow passage toward the bridge. As my dragon works on a servant, I stay quite a few tiles away: their area effect will cause them to retarget. Not healing the dragon isn't a problem: once discorded, a servant falls pretty quickly and won't kill my dragon.

If two target my dragon, I peace one and lure the other down. Two discorded will kill my dragon (again, I'm not able to heal it). If two target me, I peace one and run like hell, praying I can peace the other in time. If three target me, area peace and recall. What helps a lot is double-clicking the blue names once I'm just close enough, so I can get there health bars off their paperdolls.

I can already tell by the way you cry "scripter" that it's to hard for you to understand that I can solo anything in the game but these things have made it to hard for me to kill one of my fav renowns to kill.
This spawn should not be something that I need to bring in 10 people or switch characters to do. I'm pissed because... I have not got a chance to kill the renown on my shard since I have returned to the game because there is no one to do it with! Like I said, I already know by the way you cried "scripter" your just some think you know it all trammy that really don't know jack anyways & here I am trying to explain the situation to you.. Now I feel like a idiot.
Vyal, I farm the paragons on my Sampire. Try using a leafblade or Dashios, feint them every 4 hits or so, make sure to honor them if you can, and do go enemy of one to them. You should be able to take out 2, maybe even 3 at a time, although it is best to stick to one at a time, if possible.

The servants seem to no longer spawn as paragons on TC1, so hopefully they will be turned off once it hits prodo shards...

better get down there and finish farming paragon chests before it ends...
