SA bonded Vollum From Crystal Vanishes

Yup. On Origin. Noticed it was 5:02 while chopping wood, on way to house to log out, saw 2 minute server down message. Went to house, logged. realized I had left packy full, logged back in for him. Left house got packy, emptied packy (Only a few things in packy), logged back out.

Logged in VERY shortly after server came back up, packy and outside of house, told packy to follow but Vollum missing Not showing in control slots. No vollum ghost, Checked luna stables... NO Vollum.

Paged Gm, almost instanly got canned response about lost item policy.

Didn't know bonded pet Vollems could go wild, in under 15 minutes. Didn't see any sign of wild vollum. Didn't Dismiss it. It's gone vanished, no where to be found !

Pretty pissed off right now.

Sometimes the pets are still running around, but not show on control slots.
Make certain to check the area, in which you have been around or before the server down message.
I don't think, that these "magical" pets survive an unbonding.

Sadly, I checked all over the north of Luna gate area, the west of Luna gate area, and Luna itself, NO sign of Kittygoyle the Vollem

I don't understand how it could have "unbonded", since the packy didn't. The packy was just fine and the stuff in his pack was still there.

If the Vollem unbonded shouldn't the packy have too ?

And it seems, the more modern pets (i.e. Greater Dragons, Dread War Horses) seem to perform a loyality check much more often than others.
But you had your Vollem at least - I am still not seeing any of the promotional tokens for the 5 account upgrades I purchased via support.

He's a mechanical pet, what on earth would mechanical pets eat ? In short I don't know, I don't even remember if he got fed, i think i've been up too long at this point. *mutters something about caffine*

Don't they get happiness by being given commands ?

Packy is fine, Vollem has Vanished. Packy hasn't been fed in .. I don't know how long. If anything Packy should have vanished first. If they are going to change the rules , they ought to warn us.

Did you enter the code for the tokens? They email you a premotional code along with your account upgrade code, and you have to manually enter that when in game to get the tokens.

Also, I had a similar problem with this while training two bonded Raptors. It pissed me off quite a bit.

I was training them on dragons, just as a test. Server warning came up, I recalled and stabled, when I came back on I was back in Destard, dead with 0/5 followers when I ressed. Grabbed my body, went to luna, and no stabled raptors...

That's a known bug with ALL pets not just the Vollem -

NEVER leave a pet out over server down, or you stand a very good chance of losing it...

Another reason why I don't want to be a tamer or have unrideable pets.
This is a huge game flaw. To have pets (bonded too) and then lose them? To train the thing for countless hours and have it go poof?

Now to get this bonded vollum as a reward for early buying of SA, and have it unrideable, and then having to run back to a stable every time... this is not a reward to us non-tamers. This is a sick Mythic joke. They feed into this joke.
"Hey guys let's give them a bonded pet"
"But there's that pet poof bug"

I don't understand, why the autostable routine is not going through all abandoned pets (can't be that many) at each serverup and put them to the stables of their owner.

Did you have a mechanical vollem or a token vollem?

Mechanical don't eat, and must be repaired via tinkering, they don't bond also.

The Vollem from the token ** Is Alive ** they eat raw meat and are bondable. If you never fed it, chances are it had very low loyalty and went wild while the server was down.
