Runic Hammer and Imbuing

I recently came back to UO, last time I was here SE was just out, so a lot has changed. I attempted to make a bronze axe for my Warrior and when I clicked the runic hammer it asks what I want to reforge. I have searched the internet and could not find an answer why I can't just craft an axe. I logged on another smith that does not have imbuing and I was able to craft weapons normally. I assume it's an issue between the seat and the keyboard, can someone please tell me what to do!

You are to close to a soulforge, when you click on a runic it will do that. reforging is better 99% of the time.

Ok, that makes sense. I will move the soulforge, as for reforging, I have not figured that out yet. Thank you for the help!
