Rune Books : Would you like a 32 or more runes new book ?

As we know, current rune books hold max 16 runes.

I do not know others, but I find myself with a number of rune books which I would prefer I could consolidate into a much lower number of books.

Sooo, I wonder, am I the only one who would like the developers to bring some love to Scribes and let them be able to craft larger rune books which can hold more runes ?

Say, for example, books for 24 runes, books for 32, books for 40 runes, books for 48 runes....

Of course, the more the runes carried in the book the less crafting chances the scribe would have to make them, even at 100.0 skill, and the more varied ingredients would be needed......

Anyways, am I the only one who would love to have rune books of a higher storage capacity ?

They could make runebooks like spellbooks and have them hold up to 64 runes.

Though its not likely to get on the devs radar right now, so we'll have to make due with many runebooks.

I still remember the times when there were no runebooks and you had individual runes. They couldn't even be blessed and there were no insurance. So you were screwed if you died with the runes on you.

How the game progresses. Maybe in 10 years time we'll be asking for infinite super runebooks with death rays, hehehe.

we have to consider the default rune problem... if you have more rune and you can always have only 1 default location would not be very nice...
so... unlimite runes on runebook and make rune stone blessed (and craftable but this is another question...) for quick recall

I actually really wish they could figure out how to let us have multiple recall macros out of one Rune Book, as it was with UOA.

Id still end up carry 5 runebooks on each character, I wouldnt wanna scroll threw pages to get to a rune in the back of the book so i could set it to default and SJ off it.

Id rather see the Dev's time go into things more worth wild.

Blessed pouches or box would be a blessing. Die with like 12 books in a bag then to try & find something in your in your back pack . I vote for blessed rune book pouch/bag/box

I think that the extra runes per runebook is an excellent idea. I wished all city banks for example to be under the same runebook.

Trash all the runes you haven't used in the last six weeks. Or dump them in New Haven for newbies. This would probably fix 90% of your storage issue.

I know the new client doesnt have these problems but there is still a ton of people playing the classic client.

I'm fairly satisfied with the current rune book size cap, but I would like to be able to:

* modify rune titles within the runebook
* rearrange runes within the runebook (alphabetically or full customization)

That would make managing runebooks (and libraries) far easier to manage in my opinion for those of us who are anal about having particular rune placement within books.

The storage increase is actually welcome. I believe the current cap is 16. I wouldn't mind adding a second page with an additional 16 runes for a total of 32 available runes per runebook. That would save a ton of storage room in the pack and in libraries.

I would be happy to see a couple of pages added. Maybe make them hold 64 runes. Backpack clutter drives me crazy, and I'm always clicking on the wrong runebook!

Several approaches:

1) Use Legacy Containers, looks the same as Classic. Items do sometimes drop behind the books, though, same as Classic.

2) Use Grid View and put them at the top row. Your pack retains any horizonal or vertical scaling, so you can make the top row as wide as your number of books if you like.

3) Put them in a hotbar, and stash the actual books down the bottom of the grid out of the way until you need to drop a rune into them. You can cast recall, sacred journey, or gate directly on the hotbar book, or open it from there with a single click.

4) Drop the books into a macro and bind a key for each one. You could also macro a default recall this way, have it cast the spell and target the book then bind a key to it. A good panic button if you have a cordless mouse and you lose charge or connection. In fact put this in a hotbar with a key binding, that way you can always access the macro if either keyboard or mouse fails.

5) Use list view and scroll. Again, it can be as long a list as your screen will display due to scalable containers. Also note the entire interface is scalable so you could shrink it down and fit a longer list on screen.

I'd enjoy/use runebooks that could hold a higher amount of runes. I'd really like to see a sorting feature that let's you sort by alpha or rename them in the book. Not like bod books that are personal view, but for players who run rune libraries to have an easier time organizing them.

As long and they built in a way for copying existing rune books onto the free spots in the new rune books.

I'd love larger capasity Rune books. I'd be able to cut back on the amount I carry on my mains and the thought of a smaller library for the same I have is a wonderfull thought. Yes some work to refit but hell the 40% more space I got now still is piddly.

T Maps libraries are gone now like mining and most everything else? Vendor malls open and close too often. So, with the need for most of the libraries getting nerfed every few patches, I don't really see the need for larger ones at all.
