I too have an issue with Nails - It is clearly stated by the seller in post number 12 ,that I was the high bidder for the rubble cards and the 2) handrails and had a posted bid of 75 million for 1) of the rubble axes.The seller contacted me thru conversation on this site requesting a hook up to buy them .I met him within 5 mins of his request in Luna and he told me that Nails had messaged him a bid of 220 on the cards thru icq.In my opinion ,if Nails could find his way to post here the original bid on the cards,then Nails certainly doesnt need to be offering more gold then someone else has,especially when the seller has decalred the bidding over and announced the winners.To top it off Nails plays this last second bid game,that literally splits hairs over a few seconds on the 10 minute rule,that in itself causes more confusion to the bidders as well as the seller I would think.In any event there was no 10 minute rule on this sale,the winners were declared and posted,yet somehow Nails is able to deviate from this,and once again the integrity of the whole process comes into question.But hey, i only got 22 posts which makes me a "visitor" vs. "seasoned vet".samo samo samo

Much like Demon Slayer, the original poster did not define clear rules for bidding on his items. Agreed? He didn't set an end time for the items other than posting:

Now we all had no clue when that meant, right? I know I didn't. So the instant he posted this message 5 hours ago at 5:19pm EST, pretty early in the evening.

I got an alert from Stratics via email. I was confused as to what he meant by this post, so I sent him a private message asking him if he sold the items already or not? He contacted me back over ICQ at 6pm EST, and asked me for my bids. I gave him my bids which was 70m/each on 4 weapon wall hanging rubbles which came to 280m, and 220m for the rubble cards which came to 500m gold total. A combined offer of 40m higher than previous bids. I mentioned that it would be my last offer, cause it was more than what I had wanted to pay, so if anyone wanted to still outbid me they could. Instead he instantly responded that wall hanging rubbles would be sold to me, and shortly there after he said the cards were mine as well at 6:16pm EST. I paid for them quickly, and the rest is history.

If I have done something wrong, I honestly did not do it intentionally. I was not entirely certain as to what was going on with this seller or these items. Like all of you, I much prefer clear auction rules like you can find at

I wish everyone posted their items for sale there, no offense to Stratics. Like most of you, I don't have time for 10 minute rules, or complicated sellers. However I will comply with whatever rules players set in their threads, and hope they will be honorable and true to their word. I would hope everyone can understand that dealing in rare pixels is a complicated matter. I personally do my utter best to negotiate fair trades with everyone who plays ultima online with the highest level of respect and integrity. However even I missed out on many rares and rubble items Demon Slayer sold, in fact I lost many to Klimo, and good for him, I never uttered a complaint in that thread. Over a course of a few months, I would increase my bids for weeks on Demon's items, and then it would be sold to someone else without him even asking me if I wanted to counter-bid. This process in these forums isn't entirely fair to everyone, but its what the majority of us have decided to put up with.

All I can ask is don't blame me, blame the process. I mean no hard feelings to anyone. I promise to give all my rare items and rubbles a very good home on the Catskills shard. I hope to share them with everyone soon. Until then I wish you all the best of luck in you endeavor in life and in UO.

NO SPIN I read his post and interpreted what he was saying as you both currently had the highest bids, thank you to everyone for bidding on my auction, and I will contact other bidders if someone doesn't pay. Seemed like he was updating what was going on, thanking everyone, and mentioning what he will do at the end of the bidding. It was much shorter and vague to me. All I did was ask if the auction was over. What I didn't read, nor conclude was "bidding was over,done,finished thru" He could have just responded that it was. If you don't want to believe me, that is your choice. I wrote the most thorough explanation I could. Why you are angry with me and not the seller makes absolutely no sense. What have I ever done to you? What would you have me do? Apologize for breathing, being born, just existing, taking up space in your pixel universe? The seller is the only one responsible for the items, the auction and the final selling. It is his own yard. It isn't like somone came and stole the items away.
I too would be enranged in Klimo's and Rador's place, but I would keep my head clear at least to know who I am to blame.
Shady business is always sad.
