Rubble FAQ

1) Rubble has been reported to have the name rubble. However, it might take some time for it to get updated. So ctr+shift few times.

2) Rubble can be anything that highlights in Magincia including plants, parts of wall, and so on.

3) Example of Rubble (Thanks Crysta - I want mushrooms :<)

Subsequent post by Manticore explains how rubble is created:

Ok, listen up guys, this is how it works. There are couple of ways to get rubble.

1. Explosions that happens once every few hours and its random between shards. The explosions usually happens near the moongate. Once you see the explosion, right afterwards, start searching all over the city, but for now in the wooded areas. Use ctrl shift to reveal the names and sometime the name "rubble" will show up and sometimes it takes a couple of ctrl shifts for the name "rubble" to show up. its like how sometimes you recall to your house you mouse over an item and it just says the generic name rather with all the stats but if you mouse it over it again it will reveal the true name. There will be literally thousands of pieces when this is through. Each explosion can yeild as high as 14 pieces from the reports I've read. Now times that by the number of shards then times both facets then times the length of this campign and you'll see why thousands of pieces will be generated. One thing you will notice though that as each hour progresses, the number of shrubbery decreases.

2. The 2nd way of which only has been reported on couple of shards, involves the Dev player NPC (forgot his name) and he will spam stuff and if you talk trash to him it'll get him angry and afterwards he/she can also casue explosions. But this explosion can go as far as the buildings themselves. So if you go to Atlatnic, you'll see the north/west side two buildings are half blown up. People were able to loot the rubbles off that.

I imagine, perhaps either cannons will be brought in later or more Dev. played NPC will blow up the buildings and eventually all the shrubbery, logs, trees, buildings will be blown up and rubbles drop randomly for the pickens.

I hope this clearifys all misconceptions and good luck to all.

Ok, that boards I didn´t see yet, but do the other things have different graphics too?
Or is it named "rubble" when you hover over it?
Sorry, I´m running around, trying to pick everything up.. I´m a bit confused..lol

Thanks for enlightening me in advance!

Yes, it all says rubble but different graphics.

Just saw a big piece of furniture.

BTW, those boards are locked down in my house. Not in magincia.

Is that all just happening randomly or are the demons still there tearing stuff up?

Its from a random explosion - which is kindav stupid because that means stuff is gonna blow up no matter what maybe.

Sorry if I´m slow minded, but what explosions. The fire fields demons cause? *scratches head*

Do you see those named "rubble" too, when holding shift+ctrl?
Oh and did you find it near that explosion?

if i lure a light demon into town, will it turn everying around it into rubble?

It's named rubble and fairly heavy. I don't remember any explosions...it was where the demons and fire fields were.

I wish they had tagged rubble as not shard transferable. While Atlantic is likely to see very little, other shards will probably have the entire town destroyed on both facets.

Maybe. Draconi posted on a thread on U.Hall that it's scaled to the shards population. Had no problem keeping it from town on LA on either facet. If it stays small...we might not get any building pieces here.

I did that already, but didn't happen. There was fire in the buildings too, but didn't turn into rubble...ugh.

I suspect it has more to do with "the explosion", which I have yet to witness.

Only time I saw people getting rubble was when we had a EM type character (I am guessing Draconi) talk smack to us and then blow everything up.

Day 1 completion report on my shard: Trammel done; no explosion; NO rubbles! No Andrew the Servant.

I have a feeling that this is just like those previous events where manual operation is needed (ie the live team) to trigger certain parts of the event.

Were there any kind of explosion or something that "caused" them or did you just happen upon them?

Excellent, best description yet, now I know why so many people hangout out at the moongate while I am scanning all over Magincia prematurely.

Ok. Here's what I got. All are named "Rubble" and have varying weights (the mushrooms are 99 stones!).

From left to right the graphics are:

Small Palm, Mushrooms, Rock (from around the gate), 2 types of Fern, half of a Fallen Log, Grasses, and a Sapling I had forgotten i'd grabbed.

Oooo, glad to hear we have them. Fran had me out scouring every pile of dirt looking for her.

Looking for RUBBLE for her in the dirt, not looking for HER in the dirt.

You walked over an exploding mushroom that does a bit of damage and makes an explosion sound. You can see these in forests and swamps and such all over.
