Being a Chessie player this has been an interesting read even if unfounded. What surprises me most of all is that it's being allowed to remain in the UHall forum. Lol.

You set this up with Lac right? Did you miss the part where he said he was leaving town for 2 weeks to be with family? And if im "lying" why isnt he the gm of our guild right now, and hasnt been on? Dont be a tool about stuff. If you did set it up; then you know well that he was gonna be gone. Dont talk like that when he cant even answer you because hes nowhere near a pc and wont be for 2 weeks.

more help? sir the fight was almost even with 4 coming in first so you couldnt dump it and run out. we ended up with almost as many as you. you had 9 and i think we were at 7. should stick together and fight as a team!
Unless UO is hack-free/client side modification-free there's no fair PvP. Plus inferior PvPers using Dread Warsteed/Greater creating challenges even worse if the PvP tamer is good with what they do AND also ultilize dread/greater to gain unfair PvP advantages can put many (equal skilled)people down unless these people also choose to use a powerful pet like dread/greater.
All the crazy pets in PvP aside, there are simply too many "victories" happened because the "MORE" skilled PvPer is simply runnng faster than the "LESS" skilled opponent. Put a really skilled mage up against a much faster dexer (or any other template), even if the faster runner didnt win out right they are much much harder to kill comparing to a equal movement speed player.
Last but not least, the numbers. I dont know about cheesy, but when TBH was "dominating" Origin, they can easily field 7+ people at any given time upwards 25 during prime time while there are at most 5 to 8 people across shard trying to stop them. TBH was regularly doing early morning despise with 5 to 7 people and they had a policy if they dont have at least 5 people they can NOT do any spawn just so they can claim no TBH spawn was ever raided succesfully. Every shard has at least 1 PvP guild that has significantly more players than others, and a lot of them do normally win.
Anyways congrates on RoT's victory. Keep upthe good work and hope you guys have a tour around all the US shards. Peace.

Everyone had my icq it was his place to choose the 5 people for me to face and put them in touch with me. I guess he couldnt think of 5 people he would be confident with. Yes it was set up for 9ish eastern time tonight. I know he is suppose to be gone but whats the excuse for those 5 people he named to me.

I haven't PvPed much since X left the ally, but back then, RoT was able to put up 20-30 people primetime (8pm-2am) to SW@T/X's 10-15, and that was okay. We won some, RoT won some. The additions of C/OATH did not mesh as well in my opinion, and once X left the ally, I think that was a turning point in which our numbers tapered off, and people began to think about moving around.
In my opinion, then, X won Chesapeake.

The drama is quite interesting though, agreed. Let me add, Atlantic has a weaker PvP scene than Europa.. Or at least less brutal. Not necessarily a bad thing. Maybe it's less cheat-astic as well.

he gave a few people who have chars on atl your q. it was up to them. nothing sounds funner to me then buying 5 xfers on a saturday night to come fight you.
So now that its.. SWAT/C/OATH/, Whatever 475534904 faction guilds they have; and we are actually TRIMMING numbers (aka WAY outnumbered in terms of UO.com character readings) && at most 7-10 people on at prime time, they lose/die/etc and call zerg? Cmon now.. it seriously makes no sense. If they would do teamwork; less stealthing reskills for points; and less blowing themselves up with boxes to "save" points, maybe we'd all have fun in the pvp scene again.
And for the record; we now have 3 different guilds that broke off and are fighting us in factions because of the booting/trimming of numbers. Some got booted; some chose to do it "for more fights." So now is as good as time as ever to rally your 9485934 man alliance and fight.
PS; I dont think X was the most dominant guild on chesapeake.. EVER..

Shouldn't this thread be in the Chesapeake forum instead of U.Hall? I don't see how this has anything to do with general UO banter. I agree with several of the previous posters. If RoT seems so confident in their ability to "win" a shard like they claim, then perhaps they should X-shard and see how they stand up to other guilds. I somehow doubt they will be able to achieve anything significant.
The thing was; we didnt even start this thread, a SWAT member did. And then a few other shards/pvpers got involved in it. And it got off track like most UOHall posts. Its pretty popular though right?

I've been smashing faces on Napa the past few days. Met one mage who could beat me with my 110 scrolled guy with a junk suit. Probably go to lake austin next and pick up a few people there after I make some friends on Napa that want to roll with a real pvp guild. Then I'll go to chessy and smash the Riegn of Terrible.

EVERYDAY i fight you , and everytime i have killed some one or almost killed them 2-4 people are called in to help that guy .

and wtf do you expect : OATH : not even a pvp guild SWAT: dosnt have one good pvper to mention about !C! : Has 2 people !!!!!
your all running around with the best items and the best pvpers next to you all in minax and telling each other theres no one to fight
so obviously in any 5v5 situation against the allaince you would win ....
what i would be more worried about is when i come to raid with one other person killed alll 3 of the people doing the spawn then 5 mins later im swarmed by 10+ people in that way WELL DONE rot that is how you own chessy.
in my eyes the allaince are the heros here for still fighting to this day considering most of the time being out numbered and out classed .
what i would like to c is one of the so called best pvpers on chessy in the rot guild break away take control and do something insted of wimpering behind the rest of them saying theres no oneto fight.....ok so they made this alternative faction guilds WWW etc...you still dont attack eachother , you give each other liberties and in a raid situation they would back you over any guild so your just basically seperating the guild as an illusion becuase you knew it was zerg. tbh your just like a government suppresing the people you have all the tools and resources . congrats .

Although it's rather interesting that it's still here don't ya think? I mean, it's obviously the regular chest-beating garbage you get when you go to a shard forum except it's here everyday in the most popular forum where everyone can enjoy it.
The interesting thing is it hasn't broken any rules even though it clearly doesn't belong here and many threads have been moved for far less. This leads to the reason as why it has been let to fester. It's not really contributing anything any longer. Even unto itself and the purpose of the thread. It's just become a sir this sir that thread where people explain in some type of pvp-civilized manner how they pwned so and so or how so and so's template is garbage. Nothing to see here, as it were.

When I was in the Air Force I lived off base with a couple of freinds for a while. We got a dog from the pound and named it Sir. Made us giggle a little when addressing officers.

This thread is awesome! All I here is, OMG ROTS A ZERG, and OMG U WONT FIGHT EVEN NUMBERS..
Here is a few things I know about Chessy since I have been here...
1) I duel some members of !C! and SW@T on my naked dexxer with -10 resists and win.
2) I kill 70% of there members whilst in stat loss.
3) There scared to spawn
4) 80% of the time, They have MORE numbers on than us ( can see em in tram or house hiding or w/e) but they complain and say we zerg because some of them wont fight us.
5) most of them sit at the gate, on stealth archers or w/e, wait for you to get low and for 5 + people to attack you then they jump in.
6) they complain about zerg, then you offer 1v1 and there like NO.
Champs need to get over themselves, I have yet to meet a good member who is worthy to fight me. you can say OMG MAGE DUEL ME all you like, if you cant beat my dexxer, then you fail.

1. The Swat alliance will not improve, until the leaders of those guilds take responsibility. Its a matter of them wanting to recruit and recruit and recruit, but at the same time they refuse to remove the ones who bring the guilds down.
2. Swat + X was a force....And then I was outvoted to ally Champs...and then OATH.....WoW talk about ruining an alliance.
3. FoA never backs down to a fight...Anyone on chessy who wants to fight, then let me know 225987088. Win, die, whatever...We are up for it because the fight is what matters.

My God! You read my freakin' mind, man! I feel so violated.
And futhermore I'm not transfering Atl to find good people really. I'm just bored there. I lost my faith in that shard when I killed a necromage in a "pvp" guild and he got on his dismount tamer and killed me with his dragon (which he also died to the strangle I had on him after the dragon killed me) and started spamming how he owned me and I suck at pvp. I just kinda lost faith in my home shard.
