[Selling] Robe on Catskills

I have a robe on catskills, it's black and uninsured and unblessed...but what's wierd about it is when I die it goes back into my backpack like it was insured or blessed (more so blessed because it doesn't take gold out of the bank for the item when you die)...but I don't know anything about it...how it came about and if it's rare or not...so was kind of looking for some information on it and if it's sellable or not...Thanks

Its a newby robe.

Back in the day, the clothing you started with was newbied. When you died and were ressed, your clothing was in your backpack, just as if it was blessed.

I'm not sure when clothes stopped being newbied or why, it was a cool thing. I still have several sets of newbied clothes.

if it is a newb item i heard you will not be able to lock it down you should only be able to secure it. and yes it is worth something to the right collector someone who has been around long enough to know about the item and wish's to collect it

Sounds like the most likely explanation. I have several that are dyed death robes.
