Ring of the Soulbinder can't be fortified. Bug?

Powder of Fortification can't be used on the Ring of the Soulbinder. It's a ring with durability, but it doesn't have a replica tag. And it's not all the new High Seas artifacts because I just tried it on a Rune Engraved Peg Leg and it works fine.

Is this intended?

To my knowledge, yes. This is the same as the Token of Holy Favor and the Demon Bridle Ring that were released with Stygian Abyss. Both come new with 255/255 durability and cannot be POFed.

Yes the ring does drop in your backpack when corgul dies and imho it should be pofable as it is not a replica and it is an artifact dropped by a main boss and not a mini champ boss.

It's a feature, not a bug.

I don't think durability on a mage jewel matters. It will still last near forever with normal game play. I keep POFing my imbued pieces to 255/255. They never get too far down before I upgrade to something more powerful.

Friend of mine imbued a ring for my mage Lycanthropy on October 5th, 2009, one of my main dudes. I've repaired the ring once since then, and it now has 254 max DUR. At this rate, my ring will last a few decades, I believe.

I don't know about this. When you try to fortify a Soulbinder, you get the same message you get when you try to fortify a ring or bracelet without durability.

It sounds like different armor pieces originally either had durability or didn't. And then EA Mythic just didn't bother updating this when they introduced new items with durability (rings & bracelets) that weren't in need of the powder previously.
