Ridgebacks & Tribal Berrys!! ?? DUMB!

So today a guildy asks me do i know where to tame ridgebacks and my only reply was hmmm good question the devs blocked it off!!! SERIOUSLY what were they thinking... Also tribal berrys which are a quest item for pepta and now we cant do that either!! our dev team is not thinking right! give us access to the tribals you gave us the exodus minion for sw quest but you block us from other important things how ok delucia for tribal berrys.. but where can we tame ridgebacks???

Not sure about ridgebacks, but I believe you can get tribal berries in the swamp south of Destard. Been a while since I wanted any, so I really can't remember lol

You can still access Central Ilshenar via a cave north of the Honor moongate.
Also, you can get Tribal Berries in a savage camp outside of Delucia, if I recall correctly. Central Ilsh isn't the only place for you to get the berries, in any case.

P.P.S. And take it easy on the dev's this game is so complicated I think that a burning in period on new content should be just assumed as part of the deal. Surely they can't be expected to find EVERY single bug on their own? Just have a positive outlook, post bugs as needed.. like the OP did here.. Methinks they are addressing these issues lately..

For berries, there's also a big savage camp in some swamps in Trammel. Huts & furs and such. Don't remember exactly where, but stumbled across them whilst looking for castle/keep space during the last big fall.

Been a few years since I've been there but don't the savages spawn near city of the dead in tram lost lands? Dismount them the way you used to have to kill rider and tame like the old swampy's from juka's?

It does seem rather odd to just close off an area of the game, without warning, without notice, without even a construction sign. Another ubber secret?? or another example of the promised increased communication?
Maybe someone can ask The Twitter Guy for an ETA, it's not a bug, it was done on purpose, and it was done by a Dev,not once, but re-visited as well.

Bottom line is why implement something that's not even finished. Last i checked that's what Test center is for. I do agree that there should be more communication between Devs and players, but then again i check uoherald almost daily and haven't seen a single comment on the blocking of ilsh. All i ever see on herald is the stupid story lines that no one ever reads, why waist your time posting things that no one honestly cares about? but they choose to keep something like this a secret? when this effects every player in the game because its published to every shard, why fix something when its not broken??? why implement it to production shards when it's not finished??

I just think they have their priorities messed up when you don't see players just making templates for their characters on a production shard, without first testing it out on Test Center.... on the other hand you see Devs just implementing something on a production shard without testing it on Test Center.This just makes no sense period.

While I agree the communication if often lacking and some of the decisions bizarre, the most likely reason this is happening is for a running story line, and I don't know about you but I prefer the stories I read to start somewhere and develop to a finish later, not just be a one paragraph summary....

It might be a poor story - but demanding to know the ending first isn't that great an idea.

Treasure maps, put them away for a month till they re-set somewhere else
Berries, the swamp south of Destard or Delcuia
Ridgebacks at the edge of the desert by the gargoyle city.

MAYBE they did it as a test...to see exactly how many people actually GO there and why they go.

Other then Tribal Berries and Ridgebacks...and the Spellweaving quest...why do you go there?

There are tons of places in Britannia that are visited very rarely or not at all save for the occasional trip or two....maybe they want to find reasons for that.

I know I'm not the only one that liked going to the Exodus Dungeon...or liked hangin out with the savages and ridgebacks...but if the only thing that people are complaining about is Tribal Berries and Ridgebacks....seems to me that area is pretty unused...maybe they are lookin to fix that somehow.
