Reward Question

I was offered a reward a couple weeks back but didn't take it because I wanted to see what was coming. Well, now I know what I want and it has stopped asking me if I want to claim my reward now and I don't know how to get that gump to appear. I paged a GM and they sent me to a website that had Nothing to do with my question. I paged again and asked for some help here and not the same candid response and dam if they didn't send me back to the same useless website. If anyone could please tell me how to get the option back to to claim my reward now I would greatly appreciate it.

Log out and then back in. The gump should appear everytime you log into the game.

There is also an option in UOAssist to automatically cancel the gump. Make sure you do not have that checked. It is on the General tab I think. The first one, whatever it is called.

Two possibilities.

1) You already selected a reward without realising it.

2) The character you're currently logging in with isn't as old as the one which got the reward screen. Try logging each of your characters in.

I'm at work now so I can't try another shards characters. It came up though on my Seige character, and thats where I want to claim it. I know I didn't claim it yet because there was nothing being offered I wanted and I wanted to see what the new stuff would be. I do use UOA and I even took it off and logged in plain and then trying again. I just don't get it....

It's under the first tab - "Common". Top right column - "Auto cancel veteran rewards"

OK so the box to cancel the rewards is NOT checked. When I log in there are errors on UOA ever since the last patch. I lost all my macros too. I have no idea what is going on but a couple weeks ago I had the option to get rewards and now it its gone. I absolutely didn't claim any either. Of course their are no GM's around anymore to assist. This just stinks...

It happens sometimes, probably a silly question but have you stayed logged in for a while? sometimes it can take a while to appear and sometimes it plain just doesnt, mines popping up no problem thou so its not the reward server i dont think

That's about it... check in UOA if you use it ...

Go into your UOA settings folder and find the folder for the character on Siege. Copy that folder, entire contents, then paste it one level up.

As an example, the normal path to your settings is UOA\UOA-Settings\accountname\shard\charactername

When UO patches sometimes UOA loses the last part of that path until Tug gets an update out. So, copy your character's folder (copy don't move) into the accountname folder. Do this while logged out of UO. Then start up UOA and log in. This should get you back your macros and may fix the reward gump problem.

Once you've done this you will no longer lose your macros when UO patches, but if you make changes to any of the UOA settings you will need to recopy the folder to keep it up-to-date.

Thanks all, I will try this tonight when I get home from work. I'm grateful that we have a community that is there to help since our GM's appear to not really care what happens to us anymore. Game support is at a whole new low as far as I'm concerned.

I am having the same problem, and I don't use UOA. I was wondering if they had delayed the publish by a few more days, but I saw the collectors were gone. I guess I'll log in for a while and see if it pops up.

Well I had the option to pick a reward a few weeks ago. I just choose to wait. Now I don't even have the option. I'll check tonight with the copy-pasting thing is UOA but I really suck with fiddling in these areas. Hope I don't screw anything up--hehe

Just in case, open your profile and check your account age ... just to make sure it is displaying correctly, very well could have been correct and then something happen and now your account is not displaying correctly thus losing the option to claim a reward. If it is not correct, then send Jeremy an email, she has been asking for ppl that are having this prob to submit there info so it can be looked into.
